Cowboy Star Restaurant And Butcher Shop

We absolutely love this place. Last night we celebrated our 3rd year anniversary plus it was our first time at this restaurant. Immediately we were greeted with amazing service from the hosts, to the bar tenders , to our waiter (guy from Ireland). Our table was perfect with a special gift of a rose and card signed by staff. The food was amazing , drinks were on point. Our waiter explained everything to us and was so very kind and even our menu said happy 3rd anniversary which made the experience so much more special. We will be back again

We went here on a whim because we had not made any reservations for Valentine’s day and most restaurants were full for the night. I’m so glad we did. They did not have any dining tables open but were able to accommodate and seat us in the bar/lounge area. The dining room was very nice but we were content in our small table near the bar. Service was great and our server Alex did a wonderful job. Despite how busy they were appetizers arrived promptly and we did not wait long for the entrees. The food was incredible, no complaints. Will definitely be returning.

The bar made me a drink that wasn't on the menu, the waitstaff knew inside & out if every dish available and we were pretty much treated like royalty! This is the place to go if you want to pamper yourself, celebrate any special occasion or chill at the bar with a dope appetizer option!! Being my first time visiting this establishment, I give this place all the stars!!!

This is truly a 5 Star kind of place. They have a Happy Hour before 6 only at the bar. The menu at the bar is more limited but you can definitely make a meal of it if you want. You will save about $5 on drinks as an example. We had a reservation, arrived early, went to the bar to get our drinks then got seated after that. Service is done excellent. You have a primary waiter and another waiter as an assistant. The steaks are what they are known for. My wife had the New York strip and it was perfectly medium as requested. I had the Baby Back Ribs with risotto which was also excellent. This is a $75 per person minimum type of place. But it's highly recommended by everyone.

I loved the fire place at the entrance and the old western faves I fell in love with playing Bethesda Fallout games. If you like old Western music, you'll love it, which blends nicely with the vibe. It is classic dressy and business casual mix when you go. Wear something nice enough to fit the occasion or even some dressed up Western wear if that's your jam. I had the slab bacon, petite fillet, crisped potatoes vs usual mashed, broccolini, gluten free bread by request with olive oil with salt pepper, homemade sorbet, spicy Margarita Monte Alvan Tequila from Oaxaca (I actually traveled there last spring), and modifications due to my food allergies with things without butter, cheese, and gluten free. If you are celiac there's no dedicated space, so eat at your own risk. They do have GF labels on items in the menu. Be sure to remind your servers about your dietary needs. Folks are just used to having it all be fair game, so they can forget with so many other tables they are serving. I loved the little bite before dinner. Enjoy!

We were celebrating my boyfriend and decided to come here as a treat. His son said this is the best steak house and we had to try it. We made a reservation online and were sat very quickly. This is by far the nicest steak house in Colorado Springs. We ordered a drink, I got the summer spritzer. It has a great strawberry taste and was very strong. They told me the drink menu was changing soon so I was lucky I got to try it! After we ordered our meals they served us a palette cleanser, it was delicious like a corn mash. Then they served us bread with whipped butter and hawiian salt, the butter was so good! The salt had a nice crunch to it and the bread was perfect, so soft on the inside. We shared the crab cakes, the sauce served with it was divine and paired so well. They do have a kids menu, just have to ask. We decided to share the 40oz porterhouse and so glad that we did! Half was New York strip and the other filet. The Filet was my favorite, so tender and flavorful. They even had cut it before they brought it out and served it to us. It took awhile for us to get our food but it was a large steak. The mashed potatoes were creamy and the broccoli soft. We chose the Mac n cheese as our side, the taste of the truffle was not overwhelming and the sauce was creamy. It also had bits of bacon. All the food was beyond amazing but this is the best steak I've ever had. When we were done they boxed up the food for us and gave us a ticket. It was so convenient and they gave us the food when we were leaving. Overall it was the best experience we have had at a steak house. Great staff and food. We will definitely be back. Already raving to our friends about this place.

This is our favorite restaurant in Colorado and Rebecca was lovely this evening. The food is local, cooked perfectly, and always brings a quality that’s unmatched. Bartenders make great cocktails. The hostesses are welcoming and very pleasant. This is a perfect date night or celebration spot. We always look forward to the next time.
