Cansano Italian Steakhouse

Came here on the Tuesday after Valentines day. Atmosphere was great and it wasn't super busy, though it was a Tuesday after a holiday. Our server, Kris A, did a wonderful job and had phenomenal service. Recommended the Love at first sip cocktail which I absolutely fell in love with as I am a big lemon drop fan. Overall food was good, I had the 18 oz dry aged NY strip and it was good if a tad underseasoned. My fiancee had the lobster rigatoni and it was very good and very filling. We also tried the roasted artichoke and the calamari and both were very flavorful. Our favorite part of the evening was dessert, we had the limoncello semifreedo and it was phenomenal. Kris A, thank you for recommending the drink you did, I had my fiancee stop so we could pick up the ingredients to make it at home. Will 100% be back.

I had a reservation on Valentine’s Day for lunch. After scheduling online, I got a call from the manager to tell me the restaurant would be closed for lunch but offered to accommodate me for dinner. They were very kind to accommodate me for a 5 pm reschedule. The venue looked good, and was decorated well. Parking was limited in front of the restaurant, but there was more available in the back behind the dumpster. I ordered chicken parmesan and my date ordered steak. The steak ($55) came out well cooked and tender, but was not well seasoned. The chicken parmesan ($34) was over salted, the tomato sauce was watery, and there wasn’t much flavor besides basil. I asked for my entree to be boxed up to take home, and unfortunately when it was back in the kitchen someone threw it away. The waiter apologized and offered a complimentary dessert. We ordered the chocolate mousse, and it was delicious. I was hoping for a better experience, but got disappointing quality for a premium cost. While I appreciated the steps the management took to resolve things, I don’t think it’s worth a second try.

Celebrated our 2nd anniversary here! They gave us celebratory champagne. The food was amazing, fresh pasta and great drinks! Highly recommend their lasagna it melts in your mouth! So good.

Genuinely enjoyed our visit with friends. Service was outstanding, food was delicious, deserts were great. Love the chill atmosphere, very classy yet silly with fun art on the walls. Feels a bit pricey but that's fine, the food, service and drinks were worth it.

ROD was an amazing server when my husband and I visited Cansano! He was super knowledgeable about the menu and hospitable towards us. We felt right at home! The portions are great, the food quality was 10/10 and everything was delicious! Scratch made really does make a difference. We got the garlic bread, little gem Cesar, short rib lasagna, chicken Parmesan, and chocolate orange bread pudding with black cherry ice cream! We left full and happy, and we will be back soon to try more things! Thank you Rod!!!

We had to send our steak back due to it being blue rare and came out a slightly warmer rare instead of the medium rare we had requested. On top of that the steak had lost all of its natural juices and flavor due to the poor cook. It was just very disheartening walking into a place so perfect and the potatoes being the best thing on the plate.
