Thoroughly enjoyed the food here. Came just in time for happy hour and were able to get our fill of blue crab dip, black garlic fries, crab stuffed mushrooms and oysters on a half shell. Everything was delicious and fresh. I’m always hesitant to order oysters in a land locked state but these were delicious and fresh. I was craving clam chowder and they definitely did not disappoint. It was delicious! Our waitress Jennifer was wonderful and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back.

Love this place for lunch! I had oysters on half shell and I believe a French Dip sandwich. Husband had something good with clam chowder! So tasty! Our waiter was also our bartender and pulling double duty!

Came here for lunch today on my birthday. It wasn't not busy. Paid parking in front for a $1.50/hr. Highly recommend to try halibut tacos, teriyake tuna; appetizers blackened fries and mushroom stuffed and for dessert creme brulee and key lime pie. They were good. Menu pricing depends on what you order. Our waitress was friendly and nice. Will definitely come back in the future to try their other seafood menus. If you are a seafood lover, then this place is for you!

Went here for lunch. Got the oysters Rockefeller. I was spitting out shell the entire time we were trying to eat it. I had the halibut and it was way over cooked and dry. Hollandaise was broken. My brother got shrimp Alfredo and the sack and tail were still on the shrimp. The waitress was really nice but the food was definitely not up to par or worth the almost $200 bill. Won’t be going back again.

Had a great dinner with my husband here last night. We usually geek out on oysters at Jax but enjoyed them and my cioppino here. The coffee martinis were A-MAZING!!! Will be back again soon. Glad to support this local eatery ❤️❤️❤️

The food at Bonny and Read is excellent, all the way down to the stuffed mushrooms. I loved the clam chowder. Also I got a chopped salad with lobster and it was so good. The place lives up to its billing of $50 per person, but is worth it because it is great. The service was a little spotty on the night due to the large amount of people, but it was very friendly.

I had the most amazing 35th birthday celebration here! Jennifer’s service was exemplary, and her genuine warmth and thoughtfulness made our dining experience truly special. We went with all of her suggestions and they were all incredible. We weren’t sure based on the reviews how it’d be with our 8 and 12 year old, but Jennifer made them feel very welcome. My family and I can’t wait to come back!

My husband made reservations for Valentine's Day because we've always wanted to try Bonny and Read. The entire experience was well worth it and we will definitely be going back. Not only was the atmosphere wonderful, the service and food were outstanding. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu, very professional, but also personable at the same time. The seafood was some of the best in Colorado Springs.
