Customer Review Summary

Mastro's Steakhouse offers great service, with many reviewers highlighting attentive and friendly staff. The food receives mixed reviews; while appetizing items like the seafood tower, tomahawk steak, and waygu sushi rolls are praised, some steaks are noted as bland. Atmosphere is a point of contention, as the restaurant can be very loud and crowded, making conversation difficult. Prices are high, with some customers feeling the cost doesn’t align with the service provided, especially regarding bread baskets and butter-heavy dishes. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for special occasions due to its remarkable ambiance and food, with several patrons expressing excitement about returning.

Service was great !!!!! Everyone very attentive and fun !! Our sea food tower was amazing !! I love the lemon and tiny Tabasco Sause !! Drinks were amazing ! So delicious !! Dessert was off the hook ! Macaroni with jalapeño was off the hook. my steak was very bland , it had no flavor nothing . I ordered medium rare .. I don't think I'll order steak here anymore . place is usually super loud you cannot hear your self talk .. tables are so close together ! I really like this spot but it's just always so crowded !!! Thank you to the amazing staff !!

My husband took me here for our anniversary dinner and it was beautiful! It's very dimly lit and quiet atmosphere where we sat. On the other side it seemed to be a bit more casual feeling with an upscale air. More lively and definately appropriate for an office special gathering or a special occasion. Our server was Melissa and she was absolutely FABULOUS! I had a million questions because it's not my normal scene, and she was very patient with me and happy to explain. It was clear she also loves the food there! We ordered oysters on a half shell for an appetizer. Waygu sushi roll as an in-between. Tomahawk steak with scallops on top. Creamed spinach and crab gcnocci. And for dessert we ordered butter cake with ice cream. ALL of the food and I do mean ALL of it was absolutely AMAZING. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with anything on that menu at all. It was all absolutely phenomenal. If I had to pick two favorites, I would choose the waygu rolls and the tomahawk steak but I would honestly reorder absolutely everything and then some. If you are looking for a special place for a special event - do not even consider another restaurant. You can thank me after you feel compelled to write a review due to the out of this world food and ambiance during your visit!

The meat was amazing - specifically the filet steak. Weird that they charge for a bread basket at such a high level restaurant. Lobster bisque too buttery - should not be drowned in butter. Service seemed a bit overwhelmed as “quote” we are so busy. Many empty tables didn’t seem to be so busy and we came very early. The price service quality relation doesn’t fit.

Brittney was our Host’s name and first and foremost provided the best service I have ever received in my life. Everything was catered to from the openings between the curtains and glass pane for noise reduction for our party to bottled/distilled/sparkly water selection and so much more. Truly 6 out of 5 star service. I have never been to such an amazing establishment. If I am being perfectly honest, I felt a bit out of place and was a bit nervous. But once Brittney arrived she was able to out my heart at ease and made all of our selections such a journey. She was knowledgeable and well versed in all things included on the menu and even offered insight into the behind the sevens for the restaurant and the live music. All in all I put my faith and trust in her steak(medium well Porter House PERFECTION with decadent marbling) and side suggestions and my family was better off for it. There were 11 of us and even though we were at a 5 star restaurant to say the least, it felt more like a down to earth intimate event and everything from the ambience to the drink suggestion pairings truly made it a night to remember. I have never truly enjoyed myself at a restaurant as much as I did on 3/30/2024 at 6pm-9pm. From the bottom Thank the restaurant and the staff(ESPECIALLY BRITTNEY!) for the unforgettable and intimate evening out with my family. Can’t wait to come back again for our semi-annual family dinner in October!

We had two steaks, lobster bisque, lamb, oyster, cocktail, wine, and cake. Total came our to $400 ballpark. My buddy paid after I passed a special exam 😀 Food tasted sooooooo good. The price is worth the occasion. Great vibes. Waitress was super knowledgeable. Her explanations added to the entertainment and experience. Highly recommend.

Last night we went to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday, party of 7. We made reservations and were seated right away. Our waiter was Michael ( Mikey ) to say he did an amazing job is an understatement. He was phenomenal, the service was the best we’ve ever had. We’ve been to several Mastros and service was always good but last night was the best we’ve ever had at any restaurant. His personality, service, professionalism was excellent. We took our teens for the first time and they wanted to try a fancy drink, he recommended a few Mocktails and they were delicious. The food was great as usual. But service was definitely incredible!! Can’t wait to be back and ask for him.

My friend and I came here for drinks and appetizers before going to see a show at the Civic Arts Plaza. She had 2 Dr Feel Good cocktails at $18 each. I had 1 Dream Berry martini for $22 but they give you the martini shaker, so there was enough in there for another cocktail. It was super delicious and a value, since you get 2 drinks for the price of one. I also ordered the appetizer size Caesar salad $9) and bread service ($5). Barely ate the bread but they had a nice selection. My friend got the jumbo crab cake and ate every morsel. Our bill, with 20% tip came to $124. That's for 3 drinks, one crab cake, and one $9 salad. Be prepared to spend some money, as all Mastro's are expensive.
