Customer Review Summary
Miller & Lux Restaurant received mixed reviews regarding its food and service. Many diners praised the outstanding customer service and classy atmosphere. The food was noted as delicious but expensive, with a few specific dishes being criticized for their portion sizes and flavor depth. The Tomahawk steak at $250 felt smaller than expected and lacked the desired flavor, while the seared Pacific steelhead portion was deemed small for its $68 price. The black truffle mac and cheese had good flavor but was slightly overcooked. Despite the high prices, some guests enjoyed the food variety and presentation, highlighting favorites like scallops and desserts. While some patrons expressed willingness to return for the overall experience, others felt the value was lacking compared to cheaper alternatives that offered better food options. Overall, the restaurant is considered a good choice for special occasions, with a high-end American steakhouse experience.

The food was really delicious, though a bit pricey compared to similar spots when you consider both the food and service. We tried the tomahawk steak—the grill was really nice, but it was too expensive at $250. We also had the seared Pacific steelhead, which was quite small (as attached pictures) and cost $68. Another side dish we tried was the black truffle mac and cheese; it was good, though it didn't have much of a truffle flavor. The wait for the meal was long, but the atmosphere was nice.

Overall, the wait staff was very professional and attentive, easily accommodating our party’s needs—though we didn’t have any special requests. We decided to split the $250, 45oz Tomahawk steak among three people, expecting to have plenty of leftovers. However, to our surprise, the portion felt closer to 20oz. While the steak was cooked well, it lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for. As someone who regularly buys and cooks dry-aged steaks, this just didn’t hit the mark for me. The mac and cheese had a nice, bold flavor, but the noodles were slightly overcooked, which took away from the overall experience. Final Thoughts: Would I go back? Honestly, no. For the price of $500 for 2, it didn’t deliver the value I expected. There are plenty of other spots where you can spend half the amount, get great service, and enjoy food that’s more flavorful and satisfying.

Took hubby for a night out, and this place did not disappoint. If you want out of this world customer service, then this place is a must. But be prepared you will pay for the outstanding service. The food was good, the venue is classy and gives an old-school type of vibe. Its definitely a place to keep on your list to visit

Amazing service and great atmosphere. The food was phenomenal, with plenty of variety. My personal favorites were the scallops and potato puree. The french dover sole was also pretty good. Caesar salad was a fun show but a little on the sour side.

Classic American steakhouse experience. Located next to the Chase Center in SF, this high-end restaurant is a perfect place for celebrating special occasions. Impeccable service, great food presentation, and all the dishes were well-seasoned and well-cooked. Valet service is available. If you are lucky, you might see a Golden State Warrior player dining there or just walking around there!

Went to this restaurant for my mother’s 60th birthday and we had a fabulous time. The wait staff was out of this world so helpful, so funny, and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a variety of food from the tartar, soups, to salads! I had the burger, and although they didn’t have gluten-free bread, it had a gluten-free onion ring, which was quite delicious. The desserts were incredible. Their pastry chef truly worked hard, and they also gave a nice dessert for my mother for her birthday. The only reason for the low atmosphere is, I did not think it’s the most attractive looking restaurant the food and service made up for it!

Took my parents there for a special treat and the atmosphere was lovely. It felt swanky and our table had a nice view of the bay bridge. This place is pricey but honestly we could have split any of the dishes. I wished the waiter would have advised us against two orders of fries - the burger comes with a large bowl of fries and with all the other food a second order was too much. Highlights were the ceaser salad, butternut squash soup and aged New York Strip. The Dover sole was good but not amazing. And the onion rings served atop the burger were cold. We really enjoyed the dessert- chocolate soufflé was nice and a very excellent strawberry sorbet! Service was just fine.

My husband and daughter came here prior and in the past after an SF Giants game, they had such an amazing time and they met Chris. He invited my husband back for dinner and to bring me his wife. We randomly thought to go and last night was perfect. From valet (Charles) to the hostess who greeted us and to the servers, the staff and more everything and everyone was great. The drinks were delicious and made with Art and effort. The food was immaculate and not too heavy but just enough to fill and flavor your stomach. The dessert was so yummy and delicious. This place is definitely a place l'd come back to every time I am in the city.
