Title: A Delightful Dining Experience at House Of Prime Rib I recently had the pleasure of dining at House Of Prime Rib in San Francisco, and it was an exquisite experience. From the moment we entered, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with elegant decor reminiscent of a classic steakhouse. The staff was exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The highlight of our meal, of course, was the prime rib. Cooked to absolute perfection, the meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The presentation was impeccable, as the prime rib was carved at the table with precision and care. Accompanied by a delectable side of creamy mashed potatoes, rich Yorkshire pudding, and fresh spinach salad, the meal was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The House Of Prime Rib also offers an impressive selection of wines, which perfectly complemented the meal. The knowledgeable sommelier recommended the perfect pairing that enhanced the dining experience. Overall, House Of Prime Rib offers an exceptional dining experience that combines excellent service, an inviting atmosphere, and, most importantly, outstanding food. It's no wonder this place has been a staple in San Francisco for years. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates a classic, well-prepared prime rib dinner.

This place is incredible. Pretty sure everyone knows that. The lack of reservations sucks, we ended up waiting almost an hour and ended up sitting at the bar. Which I loved. We got our drinks very quickly (and they were sooo strong!). We got all our food quickly and skipped all that table side nonsense. The salad was tasty, the bread was fluffy and warm. The prime rib was so tender and flavorful. The service was pretty good. They were insanely busy, so I get it. This place was full of life, it was loud and busy but in the best way. Even though we were completely stuffed and plenty inebriated we ordered the cheesecake, which we gobbled up. Not sure how to obtain reasonable reservations for this place, and waiting really sucked but I have to say it was worth it. This place is old, but they know what they are doing. Amazing experience.

The prime rib is very tender and our king Henry cut came with a small complimentary steak. The creamed spinach is so good we ordered another serving. The cornbread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The creme brulee sugar topping was perfect. Service was attentive and were there for everything we needed. Food and service 10/10. Only complaint was that the dining area we were sat at was very loud.

Meet your friends in front on the large sidewalk. Walk in and check in to the right. Order a delicious cocktail, poured at your waiting table, and they’ll leave the shaker with enough extra for a second drink. After your name is called, wander through the various rooms and hallways, packed with full tables of happy people. Sit down and order; the menu is mainly just out of courtesy because your only decision how big of a slice you want and baked or mashed potatoes. Choose a nice wine to go with your meat. Try not to eat too much of the warm appetizer loaf, served with a half stick of butter. Enjoy the always fun, spinning salad presentation, done by always excellent staff. Then, receive your excellent dinner. It’s great, every time. Pay your bill, which is a very good value with how much amazing food you get and the service. Dream of that next visit.

Wife booked one year in advance for Valentine’s weekend. My first time. Server was professional and attentive. Dim/cool lighting, but very crowded and loud. Baked potato was better than the prime rib IMO. Lots of sauces to try with food. Prime Rib was a tad gummy but not a big deal. Enjoyed this classic SF eatery experience. I would be back but the reservation is 🙄

Recently visited House of Prime Rib when I found myself in the Bay Area and remember being told about it. I did not have a reservation, and they were fully booked for reservations for the day (as per usual). I arrived about 30 minutes before seating started in order to join the waitlist for both the bar and main dining room and would be seated at whatever opened up first. I was told it was possibly a 1.5-2 hour wait for the Monday that I went. I ended up seated at the bar, which also has a full menu but without the showmanship. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. They move swiftly to ensure everyone gets their orders as quickly as possible. The food was delicious and cooked to order. I left very pleased and would absolutely like to come back to do the full dining experience.

A fantastic institution in SF. Hard to get reservations, but if you do you're in for a treat. Make sure you make them months in advance! The prime rib is exceptional and fair priced, and the best part of the meal. They will toss the salad before you, provide sides with plenty of substitutions, cut the meat beside your table, and if you are able to clear your plate, you can ask for an extra slice! The service is impeccable and is by far, one of the best restaurants in SF!
