First we can start out with our waiter Anthony who was amazing! This restaurant is not as good as others we have eaten at. The filet was good, mine was a bit overcooked and my husband’s rib eye was great. The cream spinach and scalloped potatoes were great. The warm butter cake I was not a fan of and he did remove it from the bill but the key lime pie was delicious. Great selection of wines. I didn’t take pictures of the steaks as the presentation is just a steak in a huge plate that’s was 400 degrees

We had the tomahawk and lobster bisque, and although the meat was cooked well, it had a noticeable taste of butter and oil. For appetizers, we opted for mashed potatoes and mushrooms, which turned out to be a great choice. The live music was a highlight, with the singer’s lovely voice adding to the experience. The meat portion was also generous and shareable. The prices may be a bit steep, but the live music and excellent service made it feel worthwhile.

I reserved the roof top view dinner I got the middle floor. They said it’s not ready or available. Online say’s it was. Oh well, still had a great time celebrating my moms Birthday and they made it extra special by putting her name on the top of the Menu, that’s was sweet. There was live music and my family got their share of Steak. I order salad. Their food was pretty simple and less optional. My son had a headache for the extra cheese on his Mac N cheese😅. Sushi was his favorite. Love the bread and the bone marrow appetizer was delightful needed more flavor. Over all it was an experience and I was told they started in Arizona have a branch in Glendale. Surely will check it out when I get back in town. Thank you for the great service and our server was very detailed and informative. The desert we didn’t end up ordering just a piece for my mom we are all full.

We went last night. I didn't look at the reviews before I left. But maybe I should have. First entering they are not welcoming. Not rude but almost the typical service that is the current trend. They act like they are bored. But on the way out they were more expressive when I was asking about the glass chandelier. Waiter was polite, attentive, and informative. But now the food and the main reason we were there. Drinks were good. As appetizers we had the lobster cocktail. I should've asked for warm clarified butter. That's on me. But the lobster was over cooked and chewy. Then we had the burrata salad. The burrata was great and very creamy but the tomatoes were just okay. I also should've asked for more glaze since the tomatoes were lacking in flavor. Maybe roast them and peel the skins. Roasting could enhance the flavor especially when out of season. Next we had the 16 New York strip steak. My partner's steak was tender mine was chewy. A few times I thought I needed to spit it out or I'd choke. But decorum stopped me. We had mushrooms and the lobster Mac and cheese. Mushroom were fine but the lobster gnocchi was definitely missing the main ingredient, lobster. There was one piece. But still was lacking in flavor and the gnocchi was dense. Not pillowy. Now for dessert we ordered key lime pie. I love a good key lime. You can tell it sat and cause the outer part to have that dry skin feel. But the crust! I've never seen a pie were there's a 50/50 ratio! The crust was so thick. Whip cream was good. The waiter also gave a a free butter cake. It was okay. I think the center with the ice cream was decent enough but the edges were too much. I would never purchase that on my own. With this experience I wouldn't go back. Too many other places that are better all around. Photos show tendons in my steak and the crust of the pie.

5-Star Dining Experience! We had an unforgettable evening celebrating our friend Alejandra's birthday at this beautiful restaurant. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was stunning, perfect for a special occasion. The drinks were absolutely delicious—strong and perfectly balanced. As for the food, it was truly amazing. The shrimp cocktail was a fresh and flavorful start. The 12oz filet mignon was so tender it melted like butter, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the fries were irresistibly crispy. When dessert came, the creme brûlée was divine, and to our surprise, they included a cheesecake with berries, which was equally incredible. Our server, David, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and ensured we had a fantastic time. This dining experience was flawless from start to finish, and we can’t recommend it enough. Whenever we’re back in San Francisco, we’ll definitely dine here again. 5 stars all day!

This place is beautiful, unfortunately it’s not perfect if your coming for date if you want quiet place, the night when we dine it’s pack there’s live band, there’s group of ladies next to our table having a little bit so much fun, all we can hear is their voice so loud. We need to talk louder than usual if not we cannot hear is other, we thought it’s a fine dinning, it’s just not what we have expected. Plan before you book and ask them about your preferences. I ordered NY medium rare steak.. it’s okay..it’s not the texture and flavor for what I’m expecting. I’m a Chef myself so ..technique and flavor could improve. For medium rare it’s very chewy which is not supposed to be. To the server we had that night, he give us excellent service , great champagne selection and which I forgot the name.

Mastro's presents a façade of a nice environment, but beneath the surface lies a deeply troubling reality. While the ambiance may seem pleasant and the service staff may appear decent, the management is utterly unacceptable. I have witnessed firsthand their appalling treatment of both customers and employees, including blatant racial profiling people. Furthermore, the management's approach to their own staff is nothing short of deplorable. They treat employees like mere pawns, employing intimidation and manipulation to maintain control. This toxic atmosphere creates a distressing work environment that is evident in the quality of service provided. Mastro's is far from the reputable establishment it claims to be. The disrespectful and unethical behavior of the management overshadows any positives, making it one of the worst dining experiences I have encountered. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a respectful and inclusive experience.

First time at Mastro's and loved it. I was a walk in of one and they gave me a table upon my request. The restaurant is beautiful and clearly passionately maintained. My waiter David was welcoming and gave many helpful drink/food recommendations. The lobster mashed potatoes and dry-aged ribeye are decadent, but the butter cake takes the trophy. I would say the experience was worth the premium price. I will be back!
