Customer Review Summary
The salad selection and drinks at Espetus Churrascaria are praised as great, and the service is exceptional. However, there are complaints about the meats being dry and salty, particularly during earlier reservations. Inconsistencies in meat quality are noted, with some cuts being overly salty while others lack flavor, although several steaks like sirloin and lamb are enjoyed. The buffet is regarded as vast and delicious, especially the well-cooked picanha and top sirloin. The grilled pineapple and desserts such as flan and tres leches are recommended. The dining experience is described as worthwhile, especially for high-quality meats, and the warm service enhances the visit. Overall, it’s a staple in the SF dining scene, providing flavorful meals suitable for special occasions and satisfying overall experiences.

The salad selection was great! The service was exceptional. Drinks were on point. The big let down was the meats. They were dry and salty. We had reservations for 5:30pm it felt like we were served the left overs from lunch. The fresh meats starting coming out around 6:45pm. Try going at that time.

I'd give the food a 3.8 here but overall a solid 4. Pretty simple setup, but thrre were some inconsistencies with the various meats. Some too salty, some without much flavor. We enjoyed the sirloin, lamp, and sausage the most. Drinks were good and strong. Ordered Pudim as well but the caramel sauce was burnt. It was taken off the bill though.

Espetus is an absolute staple in the SF dining scene, and every visit feels like a treat! Their buffet is both vast and delicious, but the real stars of the show are the perfectly seasoned steaks. I’m especially a fan of the picanha, beef rib, and top sirloin—each cut is flavorful and cooked to perfection. And of course, no visit is complete without the grilled pineapple, which is a must-try! On special occasions, they serve an incredible crème brûlée, but I always look forward to their rich and decadent flan and tres leches. The warm, friendly service makes the experience even better. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just indulging in a great meal, Espetus never disappoints!

I wish I could’ve taken better pictures, but I really enjoy this Brazilian steakhouse. I’ve been here twice, and both times I’ve been satisfied with the food. The experience is worth the $70 for such high quality meats! The side dishes are also good, but try not to go to over board since you’re mostly paying for the fancy meats. I had to learn that the hard way the first time. Definitely a yummy and filling dinner!

Espetus embodies Brazil in its flavor and quality food. I love their prime cuts of meat, which can be enjoyed at your preferred cooking temperature (I like mine medium rare and my family likes it medium well), making it perfect for groups and families. I highly recommend you try their caipirinhas or Brazilian mojitos to pair nicely with the salad bar and meats.

Visited after a short tour of Alcatraz. We did a an early dinner and it was a quick trip with the local line and perfectly accessible. They had a special summer offering which discounted the meal but the experience was phenomenal. We received attentive service and the food was well cooked and quality. We had visited a handful of Brazilian steakhouses from different states and this one left an impression!

Went here for an anniversary dinner and was an amazing experience. All of the meats were beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful. I recommend coming on an empty stomach so you can try all the different options. The servers were super friendly and very knowledgable. A tad bit more expensive than some places, but definitely worth it.

Took my wife for her Birthday. We loved everything about Espetus. Food was great, seasoned and hot. They sat us by the window so it got cold fast. They sang Happy Birthday to her and she loved it. We'll be back again.
