Our server was absolutely amazing! I wish I knew his name to thank him properly. He recommended some delicious dishes, and the service was top-notch. I’ve been here a few times, and the food is always fantastic, plus the view is just lovely. Highly recommend this spot!

My husband and I chose EPIC Steak for the last night of our honeymoon (a trip up the coast of California) last month, and it also happened to be his birthday! We live out in Ohio in a typical suburban house and don’t live it up all too often, so I wanted to make sure I chose the right place for our special night. After doing much research, I landed on EPIC Steak without having been there. Let me just say that this was the best choice of the entire honeymoon. EPIC Steak definitely lives up to the praise, and they pulled out all the stops for us! They went above and beyond to make our night special — from free sparkling wine to a birthday card signed by all the staff ahead of time (it was given to us early in the meal, and something clearly not rushed). I consider myself a well-traveled foodie, midwest transplant and all, and the food was exquisite. My husband and I both come from restaurant management roots, and we were delighted with the incredible flavors, the top notch service, and the beautiful atmosphere/scenery. Every moment was exactly as I’d hoped, and far more than that. The staff truly exceeded every expectation, so kudos to them! I’ve been thinking back on this experience for a whole month now, and likely for years to come.

I've been to this restaurant celebrating my birthday this week. I've been to tons of fancy restaurants all over the world ranging from Asia to Europe and I bet this will be one of your best places to be on your special day. As this is my first visit to NA region, I've always imagined of having the best server as Paul, and he made my day in San Francisco. I've felt genuinely celebrated from the team, cared for every details of my orders, to the extent even I wanted to have some drink with Paul after his work. I'm more than thrilled to share my experience today and hope everyone come to this perfect place and find your best servers ever! As this is my first time leaving any comments on google maps, and I'm quite not sure whether I'm doing this in a proper way, this place is definetely awesome and gonna make you fully satisfied with great atmosphere and best-ever staffs ready to make the utmost experience ever. Thank you a lot! All of you made my day today!!

Epic Steak lives up to its name with top-quality steaks and an incredible view of the Bay Bridge. We had the Ribeye and New York steak—both were cooked to perfection, flavorful, and juicy. The wine selection is extensive, with great options to pair with your meal. The only downside was the French fries, which were underwhelming compared to everything else. Still, the overall experience was excellent, and the stunning waterfront setting makes it well worth a visit!

Good atmosphere to take visitors to or for a business meal. Solid steak although nothing impressive. Not a tourist trap though, the value is pretty good. Good friendly service although very slow. All the sides were extremely heavy. Liked the three types of salt for the steak.

Upper end steakhouse on the waterfront near the Bay Bridge. Impressive interior with good views of the bay (not so good on a rainy night). Very friendly and attentive staff. Three types of salt on the table was interesting, each had a different flavor. Started with the crispy Monterey calamari. The calamari had a tasty batter but was a bit greasy. The salad with it was delicious though, perfectly dressed & fresh ingredients. We followed that with the Dungeness crab cakes - an appetizer easily enough for an entrée – which were good but not great. They were more like deep fried balls filled with a moist crab mixture. Not like any other crab cakes we have had. The Streak Frites was ok – steak perfectly cooked – and more than enough fries but it was not outstanding. The final entrée was a 14oz New York steak, beautifully cooked with a stunning crust. The sauces – chimichurri, EPIC steak and bearnaise – were just ok, expected more from this quality restaurant. The steak was excellent though. As a side, we had the ‘Julia Child’s Potatoes’ – the best dish of all. Superb example of classic French cooking with buttery potatoes in a wine and gruyere sauce – would return just for that. Finally, we had the peanut butter chocolate mousse which is enough for four. The base was too dense, and it looked like it had been bought in. The middle layer was tasty though, as was the caramel. Overall, a pretty decent meal.

If you’re looking for a top-notch steakhouse with a killer view in San Francisco, look no further than EPIC Steak. This cool spot offers diners a stunning view of the San Francisco Bay Bridge, making it the perfect spot for a special night out. Upon arrival, our waiter, Glen, greeted us warmly and seated us promptly. The service throughout the evening was excellent, with Glen providing attentive and friendly service without being overbearing. Now, onto the food — the New York Steak was cooked to medium-rare perfection and paired wonderfully with the Julia Potato side dish. But the real standout for us was the lamb burgers at the bar — absolutely fabulous! We started our meal with a classic Wedge Salad and finished with a decadent flan that left us wanting more. We also enjoyed a few nice glasses of Planet Oregon sparkling rosé. One of EPIC Steak’s unique features is the outdoor seating option, which allows diners to enjoy their meal while taking in the breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay. The ambiance combined with the delicious food truly makes this restaurant stand out. Overall, our experience at EPIC Steak was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of unbelievable views, wonderful food, and excellent service make this restaurant a must-visit in San Francisco. Just be sure to make a reservation, as this spot fills up quickly!

Very good place, old style, very good food, very tasty, sufficient portions. The wine list is exhaustive and the steaks are, Epic. The place is quite expensive though, not for a faint heart
