This was a real surprise. I've had BBQ before (obviously) but for an Aussie visiting from a long way away, the little differences are sometimes a surprise. Tritip (medium), pulled pork, gravy (as Aussies know it) mac-n-cheese side, roadhouse onions and cornbread 😋 - omg amazing.

The food is a good deal and very high quality. The staff is also great; however, it does depend on who is staffing. I am a regular and I do order almost every week with good service, even excellent service. There has been some days (very rare) depending on who's at the front that food is not done right or over cooked, or instructions were not followed. The correct response to anything not correctly ordered is to re-do the order. That means re-supplying meat and not taking it out to sit on the counter and then re-using it...like c'mon. The worker did not want to take orders and was passive aggressive. Did not want to re-make the sandwhich, did not want to look at me, and did not even give me my order directly. They went to get someone else to give it to me, even though I'm the ONLY ONE that ordered and there's no people. Anyway, this is rare, and I will let it go. I won't let that spoil it for the great product they have and also OTHER staff members that are good and hold accountibility. The food and quality as I said are AMAZING. I think it was so slow, and they had nothing to do that they forgot what customer service was like.

Delicious food for $10. This restaurant is in the Westfield SF food court. There are $10 daily deals and some dishes that are always $10, like the Tri-tip Mac & Cheese. The meat was perfect. It was tender, flavorful, and delicious, but the mac & cheese tasted a bit too salty. On another visit, I had the Bacon, Chicken, and Avocado Sandwich with Fries, which is the Thursday special. They ran out of grilled chicken and asked if I'd like the fried chicken instead, and I said yes. There was also slice of thick-cut bacon, thick slices of tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, and half of an avocado. The avocado wasn't sliced all the way, so I had to take it apart by myself. There was also a good portion of fries, but it didn't look like that much next to the giant sandwich. Overall, I think the food here is decent, but could be better. They have great tri-tip steak, generous portions for their daily deals, and while some of the food is more expensive, you'll get better value buying a daily deal than buying something from a different place in the food court. They also need to make sure they actually slice their avocados all the way.

I didn't know there was a Buckhorn Grill in the city...So when my pal Cletus Clamwater and his little squeezable wife Stinky said..."And, when were done installing the 5 megawatt Laser on the roof, we'll go there for a nice dinner...You'll have it aimed to the coordinance we gave you..right" Well, once the crane operator was done we got that thing bolted down and plugged her in, she popped and sputtered a bit, then started hummin like a Kardashian in the back of some guy's limo. All I could think of was that Buckhorn Grill and the Amazing BBQ they put out, and once my finger prints were wiped clean of that Laser I was all in for some AMAZING BBQ ! ☆☆☆☆☆

OMG to finally find the food inside the mall was a treat within itself! I posted the salad on my Facebook page with the caption “now that’s a salad!” And yes it truly was absolutely delicious. I was supposed to add meat to the salad but I forgot 🤷🏾it took me all evening to finish it as it was enough for two people. I sometimes eat vegan style but I wasn’t sure so I ordered the chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich just to have some meat. The smoky flavor was immediately recognized and totally appreciated; I can’t wait to stop in again!

Taste - *** Service - *** Price - *** Interior - **** If you like meat, it would be nice to eat it simply and quickly. I ordered a hamburger and a house salad. The hamburger patty was very delicious. The other bread and vegetables in the hamburger were not bad. The house salad came with the fried onion into thin slices. The amount was big and taste was not bad. I ordered side fried onion and salad, the hamburger set. It cost a l lot than other hamberger shops.

I'm dating myself here! How many of you remember eating at one of the Fresh Choice restaurants? AYCE salads and a chocolate or vanilla soft serve to end the meal? It was one of the few places I didn't mind eating salads at and felt I was eating a tad bit "healthier". Buckhorn Grill has daily weekday specials that are $10. On Mondays, it's their Krispy Chicken and avocado salad 🥗. If that's too healthy for you, you can go for the tri tip over Mac and cheese 🧀 for the same price🤣
