Was visiting Coronado and wanted a steak. Really glad I found this spot. Everything was spot on, from drinks to apps to main course. We were unfortunately too full for dessert but the chocolate cake we saw looked like a cake straight out of the movie Matilda. Highly recommend the steak tartare , filet and American Wagyu strip. I will absolutely be back

Great experience at Stake. Love the “choose your weapon” with the steak knives. Perfectly cooked and seasoned Ribeye. Great overall atmosphere. I’ll be back.

The ambience is amazing! Very nice place with friendly and attentive staff. However, I had the most flavorless food of my life. The French onion soup was good. The steak had no flavor, I tried two different sauces to jazz it up and it was still a no go. Au gratin potatoes were bland. The bread pudding was DELICIOUS so savory and as a started it gave me real high hopes that was a major let down. I had crown and coke that tasted water down with the first sip.

We had the new years dinner and can’t say enough of how good this was. I paid happy the high price because the quality and taste was truly worth it. The location is really good as well

We came for a celebration and there was a hand written congratulatory card on our table when we arrived. Some of the staff came by and congratulated us as well. It was the attention to detail that helped make it such a special experience on top of such amazing food. The Bacon Steak melted in our mouths and forever ruined all other bacon for me. I can’t imagine how it could’ve gotten any better. The Steaks themselves were amazing. I can’t wait to return.

Take my word this is the best steakhouse that I have been to. The wagyu skirt steak was phenomenal. The wagyu sample was phenomenal. The atmosphere is amazing! Picking your own knife is fun and is a perfect setup.

Enjoyed this place, but I noticed the service has gotten worse over the years. The ambiance is great sitting outside on the patio, but the server we had was not the most friendly. I cannot identify actually why, but we arrived for happy hour only and it felt like we were rushed through our orders and the waitress was not very friendly. However, the mussels were the bomb. Would have liked to have a more peaceful experience enjoying time with my girlfriend.
