Red Fox Room and Steakhouse

Traveled from out of town and wanted a premium steakhouse and Red Fox Room did not disappoint! Chris was an EXCELLENT waiter! The ambiance was top notch. I was very impressed that they had the piano bar on a weeknight. They even took requests. The serving sizes are quite generous and the cocktails were marvelous! If we ever come back to SD, we will definitely stop by!

Food (Steaks & Lobster) were fabulous. Cocktails were great. Server (Hannah) was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had the Ribeye, NY Cut and Top Sirloin. The steaks were grilled to perfection. Appetizers were very good. This is the quintessential old style steakhouse that does NOT disappoint. Parking right around the corner.

We got lucky and stumbled into this absolute gem . We are from Australia and this restaurant fulfilled all the Americana we could ever need. The piano bar lets you sing a song and I serenaded my wife after some amazing cocktails and Zinfandel 🙂. Honestly couldn’t recommend enough. Good food. Good atmosphere and nice staff

It was everything great. The meat was cooked perfectly and the waitress was amazing. She brought each the food at the right time. The only part I dislike is that I couldn’t se with band playing from where I sat, but it wasn’t a big deal. So I’d come back for sure.

What a great retro dining experience. The atmosphere is sublime and relaxing. It feels like, and is, an old school, steak house. I started with French Martini, my dining partner had an Old Fashioned, and both were perfect. I ordered the Steak and Cod after finding out that the Cod was broiled. It's my favorite way and hard to find! The meal came with salad, garlic toast, and a side, I chose a baked potato. Everything was very good and generous. My fellow chose the pork chops, and they , too, were happy with their meal. Service was wonderful , timely, and informative.

Visiting from Las Vegas found this little gem 💎 I ordered the petite rib eye steak 🥩 baked potato and side salad with Italian dressing. Of course can’t forget dessert cheese cake with raspberries and a glass of the Cabernet Ferrari 🍷 Hubby had the steak lobster 🦞 server was incredible I believe his name was chris the 3000! Guy 🤩 the piano 🎹 guy was amazing too!

Of course can’t forget dessert cheese cake with raspberries and a glass of the Cabernet Ferrari 🍷 Hubby had the steak lobster 🦞 server was incredible I believe his name was chris the 3000! We had an amazing experience at dinner, our server was incredible. Food was delicious and serving was huge we had steaks. They had gluten free fryer for the fries which was wonderful. The live music was great! We wanted to stay a while longer so we went to the bar afterwards and we're ignored for 15 minutes, they cleaned and spoke to other patrons so we went home to make our own drinks. Very disappointed. We will go back again just avoid bar service.

We were celebrating a birthday and Danee, our server, made the whole experience very special. The calamari appetizer was one of the best calamari dishes I've ever had - and I've been a big calamari lover my entire life. We both ordered the steak and lobster tail and were not disappointed. We will definitely be back.
