I took my husband here for his birthday last night and WOW, we loved it. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing. The service was phenomenal, shout out to our server Hailey she was so sweet. Everything came out efficiently and in a timely manner. Steak was cooked perfectly, I suggest getting the meat board so you can try different cuts! Will definitely be coming here again in the future!

Popped in for a date night while visiting San Diego. Saw this place on Instagram. Our waiter was cool, knowledgeable, and attentive. Made us feel welcome. The restaurant was very nice and extremely clean. We sat at a table near the kitchen that we could see into. Cool experience. Now the food. We started with some spirit free drinks, fools gold and staycation. Tasty! Parker house rolls and Caesar salad to start. Fried anchovies in the salad were different. Loved it. We had to try the associate board which is perfect for two. Ours had filet mignon, wagyu tri tip, and wagyu Denver. All Cooked to a perfect medium. Each cut had a perfectly paired sauce to go with it. We had also had the miso carrots and roasted mushrooms. We were out of here in under 2hrs and didn't feel rushed. Very enjoyable dining experience.

The Parker rolls are an absolute must while here. Other party members ordered the filet mignon and gave great feedback as well. Only comment is the food did take a while to come out, including the salads. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we didn’t start eating until closer to 7:30/8. The servers were definitely hustling and provided great service throughout the meal. Not a great place for kids. Place is wheelchair accessible. Street parking can get a little tricky depending on day of the week and any holidays. Great for business dinner which can be held in a separated room.

Had a fantastic night at Rare Society! The steaks were perfect, and our waiter went above and beyond to accommodate my no-seed-oil request. Great service, great food—can’t wait to go back!

Great service! We ordered the associate board , Mac and cheese, and the bread! Very delicious and just on point. We parked in the street but I believe there’s parking right next to the restaurant. Forgot to mention that the cocktails also very good 😊. Will be coming back again.

They sat us right away even tho we were 15 minutes early Server Nikki and severs assistant Jacob were extremely attentive all throughout our drinks, apps, dinner and dessert! I love the heaters outside that made us extra comfortable. We loved our oysters, lobster mac, and associate steak board Will 100000% be back and recommend to friends!

Amazing steakhouse! Very lively atmosphere with an upscale yet casual vibe, although a bit noisy inside. The food is very good and great menu selection. Nice for special occasions and the service was excellent too

The bacon is a must, and the wine selection is well priced. The steak is well sourced, bone in dry aged ny strip was recommended, it was fine. Overly salted and undercooked, but nice quality and the service was strong. Would go back. Note that the only bathroom is a public one, and to go bags are on a requested basis, so prepare to lay your leftover Wagyu by the padlocked door.
