Visited this place for an unforgettable NYE dinner. This upscale restaurant truly lives up to the hype. The menu may be small, but every dish is thoughtfully presented and absolutely delicious. We started with some incredibly fresh oysters--an amazing way to kick off the meal. The rolls with trio of butters (miso, spicy togarashi, and black bean) are a must-try and full of flavor! The yellowtail appetizer was perfectly balanced--light, refreshing, and vibrant--while the gem salad was just as delightful. My boyfriend ordered the NY steak medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. We're already looking forward to our next visit when we're back in town!

Working with a prix fix menu is not my first choice, but the staff was very accommodating. The boneless ribeye came out very, very rare, and they were nice enough to take it back in and give it a push up to medium. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, so I was very impressed with the service. The salad and mashed potatoes were fantastic. I knocked the atmosphere and overall score down to four stars simply because the music was very loud with a dance club vibe. Not a bad thing, just not my preference. Overall, a very nice experience and great staff.

*This review is based on their Restaurant Week menu* Our party of 4 made a reservation for a Wednesday night and were seated downstairs. We came here for Restaurant Week and had a great experience. Ambiance/Service: The inside gives an intimate, date night vibe. It has two floors, bathroom is located on the second floor (I didn’t know this and almost walked into the kitchen on the first floor, whoops!). There were bar seats and many 4-person table seats. It seems that they could probably accommodate a slightly larger group but definitely make reservations in advance. Shout out to Belisario for the great service! Our food came out fairly quickly. Food: The Restaurant Week dinner price was $65 per person and by the end, we were pretty stuffed. -First course included a piece each of American Wagyu Puff, Short Rib and Steak Tartare Taco: each piece was a decent bite size and loved that we were able to try each one rather than having to pick one! -Second course: I was between the Lobster Soup and the Oysters and ended up choosing the soup which had a nice kick to it. Would order this again. -Third course: I chose the Filet Mignon though it was hard choice between that and the Truffle Agnolloti. The Filet Mignon came with potato purée and I was happy with this choice. -Our table added the fresh baked house rolls with the trio of butters ($10): I forgot what each of them were but one was sweet, one was spicy, and the other garlic? I’d order this again. Drinks: -Shoot to Kill ($17). I’m someone who doesn’t like the strong taste of alcohol in my cocktails and I enjoyed this one. -Wolf in the Woods ($25): my husband ordered this drink. He’s opposite where likes stronger drinks. Served in a smoky box. Overall: We enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu and would come back again to try out their regular menu.

Hands down the BEST meal and service of my life. So happy we chose Huntress for our 25th anniversary. Seating was a little crowded, but we made fast friends with the tables next to us. We had the tasting menu and wine parings. The kitchen and staff sent us wonderful complimentary dishes and we're all tremendously kind.

We tried to make reservations at another steak house but they were booked so we decided to try huntress I heard good things so we gave it a try. The hostess was helpful and friendly there’s 2 dining areas 1 down stairs and the 2nd floor that’s where we ate there’s stairs or an elevator but it’s a bit slow so we took the stairs. It’s a nice restaurant Chris our waiter was very tentative and informative of the menu. All steaks are à la cart. For starters we had the warm bread for 10.00 only enough for 2 people. And For starters we had The yellowtail sashimi great flavor and melted in your mouth I really wanted a wedge salad I couldn’t believe a steak house that doesn’t have a wedge smh. For the main We had a filet mignon cooked medium a bone in ribeye, medium rare and a regular ribeye also medium rare. The presentation of the steak was not that great. They were warm at best lack a bit of flavor. It definitely could have been better not one of my favorite steakhouses. I wanted to love the food but i have eaten at so many steak houses like cowboy star Morten’s Ruth Chris and Del frisco just to name a few I more than likely would not go back Maybe because it’s the day after Valentine’s Day not sure, but I did expect more from huntress steaks I can say the staff, the cocktails and the restaurant visually was amazing.

This place is so much fun! I loved the loud music and the impeccable service. Gave it 4 stars because the carrots were harder than el dente and, after we accidentally dropped rolls on the floor, they actually charged us twice for the second serving of rolls! Steak was delicious and desserts were fun fun fun!

I had dinner here for restaurant week fall 2024. The food was unique, tasty, and well-presented. The service from the hostess and the waiters was fantastic. They kindly accommodated my party of 2 without a reservation near opening time. However I do have some issues - the portions were quite small, and we were charged $10 more per person than the prix fixe menu price of $55 pp advertised on the SDRW website. This price discrepancy, along with the small portion sizes for the price charged, left a pretty bad impression on an otherwise great meal.

The Huntress experience was top notch from start to finish.Of course we arrived ridiculously early to the restaurant (45 min) but we thought, the only guaranteed misses are the swings we never take. They sat us immediately and were very gracious about it. Bonus point. The decor was perfect. Good lighting. Excellent fixtures, ambiance, and accents. The best part, my girlfriend and I were sat in a booth and able to sit next to each other. Next bonus point. Our server was fantastic and I feel significantly remiss in that I can't remember his name. However, I highly recommend the male server with the long flowing locks like D'Atagnan and the tremendous moustache. 3d Bonus point. We started with cocktails...Wolf in the Woods and Before Midnight Comes. Presentation and taste were beyond rapprochement. Wolf in the Woods was served in a wooden box full of smoke which only added to the atmosphere. Amazing Old Fashioned ++. Our meal started with the From Sea to Shore Seafood Platter. Every bite was perfectly orchestrated. The scallops were buttery. The crudeau was acidic and yummy the only mistake was they served it with lemons which were completely unnecessary. Ignore them. Savor the tastings as they were intended. Next came the Fresh Baked Parker House Rolls.Get them! Moist tasty rolls accompanied by three different types of butter. Our next course was Scallops and Pork Belly, smoked carrots, and Fillet Mignon. The pork belly melted in our mouths. The carrots were both crunchy and soft at the same time. Sweet and salty and smoky. The best part about the filet was they sliced and served at perfect temperature so we could enjoy like a tapas. Our second round of cocktails were a Pandanukamui and a Shoot To Kill. The Panda is a hidden gem. Highly recommend. We closed the meal with the Magic Mushroom dessert. I wot spoil the surprise, but you'd be foolish not to order. As Nigel Tufnel of Soinal Tap once said, Huntress goes to 11. We'll be back
