My best friend took me here for my birthday, and we were not disappointed. Our waitstaff was so kind, especially Dede and the second waiter. Our steaks did come out overcooked, but they quickly fixed it and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. When the steaks came back, they were cooked to perfection. The best part of the meal was absolutely the hashbrowns! The most surprising part was the house salad. We both agreed it was the best salad we’ve ever had at a restaurant. Highly recommend, and I will 100% be back. I found a new place to take people who are visiting!

Born and Raised is awesome, from a classy interior to great service and food this spot has it all. The starting bread & Butter is fantastic and worth keeping throughout the meal. The Uni Spaghetti was so delicious with a great sauce. For our main, the Steak sampler was the perfect meal to split, outstanding selection ( my favorite being the American wagyu cuts) and paired incredibly with the king crab legs and broccoli. For dessert, The carrot cake was simply great and enough to even take some home.

Atmosphere in the downstairs area is very loud, but this is great if it’s something that you enjoy. The steaks were phenomenal but that’s to be expected, but the staff was beyond nice and the appetizers were amazing. I highly recommend the uni spaghetti! What a unique dish. Our Sommelier was also very great and we had a fair price for a flight of wine.

My friend and I stumbled in during Super Bowl Sunday, it was pretty slow… little did we know how lucky we were. Holy crap, this place is awesome! Couldn’t recommend enough. The drinks are top tier and the food is excellent. The staff is exceptional: friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. The bartenders we had upstairs were all excellent. The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. Genuinely well designed. The rooftop has stunning views especially at sunset. Thank you to the host staff at the front desk that let me take a picture of them. They’re all so good looking!!

Overall experience was very nice. Our 1st time here, celebrating our anniversary. Our server was very helpful and informative of the food we were ordering. We got the dinner for 2 (prices very for the choices out of 3) all sides extra. Honestly, it's very reasonably priced for what you get. Parking is available but not easy to find. Best bet is to do valet.

My husband and I had a lovely anniversary dinner here. The atmosphere was top notch. The staff was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. They also went out of their way to ensure we had a beautiful anniversary dinner. This is by far one of the best steakhouses we've visited.

No reservation so we were unable to sit down for dinner but will definitely be coming back. Lovely Art Deco throughout, excellent craftsmanship in wood and lighting. Service was not fast but very large selection of wines, their bourbon, scotch and whiskies selection is outstanding, seven or eight pages long. Had a Flannagan dry red and an Albariño. We loved the quiet, elegant almost sober atmosphere, people very well dressed up. Had a wonderful evening at the Bar.

One of the local steakhouses in San Diego, owned by Consortium Holdings, is a notable establishment. During our recent visit, we were seated upstairs to accommodate our friends with children. The open-air setting, complete with a remarkable bar and heated patio, provides a pleasant ambiance. However, our experience was slightly hindered by the dense fog in San Diego, which disrupted flight operations. Despite this, the restaurant's steaks were exceptionally flavorful and tender, leaving a lasting impression. We complemented our meal with a selection of side dishes that perfectly complemented the meats. While the upstairs dining area offers a unique experience, I personally prefer the downstairs section, where one can witness the skilled servers and mixologists preparing salads and cocktails on their carts. This adds a touch of culinary artistry to the dining experience. It is important to note that this establishment is not a typical mom-and-pop steakhouse, and as such, the prices reflect its upscale nature. Patrons should be prepared to make a significant investment when dining here.
