Overrated! Disappointing service and food. The restaurant was empty, but I was given a bartender to wait on me instead of traditional waiting staff. He was not familiar with the term À la carte, and I was not allowed to purchase any item on the menu individually. This is very unusual practice for a steakhouse. In addition, I ordered the Rib Eye Cap; the allegedly best item that was on their menu, but was disappointing. I asked for the temperature to be medium, but as you see in the picture, my entre was overcooked, and the portion was miniscule. The bartender shift ended, and I was uninformed of the staff change, and my cup sat empty. I had to ask for water. At any restaurant, no cup should ever go empty. Finally, they do not accept Tap payments because their systems are too old; this was the least disappointment from this restaurant, but I thought I should include in this review.

This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in Kim greeted us and engaged in conversation to see what we felt like for the evening in seating. Luckily we listened to her and sat in her section. The food was wonderful, but she made the evening an experience to remember!! We started with her recommendations of the pork belly and cauliflower paired with cocktails. The pork belly is a must have. If you are anywhere near the place you need to stop in and have the pork belly, it is that good. Seriously, after 2 bites we ordered a second one. Kim was extremely helpful on selecting a cut for the butcher selections and from her description, we both tried the Bavette. Cook as the chef intended, this was a succulent, decadent, delicious piece of steak. She was helpful in selecting sauces to pair but by itself the steak was superb! Adding a little demi glaze or chimichurri added some flare, however it only was adding to the joyous symphony of flavor in the dish! The garlic chips made in house were the perfect balance of garlic and crunch that amplified the dish instead of overpowering it. The portabella fries added as a side were unique and unlike anywhere I have had them. I will definitely try to emulate when I cook at home. You can definitely see the passion the chef has come through in the food. Add the impeccable service from Kim and this has become a new favorite for me in my travels across the country!!!

I had the fried spinach salad and was amazed at the taste. I had a shrimp and artichoke entree and loved it. Everyone else in the group had steaks. We had carrots, mushrooms, fries, and asparagus as sides. They worked perfectly with the mains. The kids had Mac and cheese and were over the moon happy.

This was a joke compared to the Las Vegas location. It screams hotel catering. The bread wasn't even fresh or warm. The steak was below room temperature. Rested too long? Wasnt informed prior that one of the ribeyes was not available. The mac was boring. The crab cake was sloppy. I the service was sub par. I'm honestly embarrassed I told my friend this place was good. Its way too loud due to the design of the place and be prepared to walk through the hotel lobby to wash your hands prior to eating.

Let me start off by saying the food was great, I ordered the salmon and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately the rest of my experience was sub par. I had called ahead and was told on the phone no reservation was needed and the restaurant wasn’t busy, however when we arrived with a group of 4 we were told that nothing was available and our only option was in the bar area/ open seating. Not a problem seats were comfy, but right in the middle of a walkway. After sitting down we didn’t get our drinks “coke and water” for 30 minutes and food didn’t arrive until 1:30 after we sat down. The restaurant was empty by the time our food came out and we had to rush through our food as the restaurant was closing. Wait times for refills were abysmal, and it looked like servers were purposely looking past us while trying to get their attention. I may be expecting too much from this place, but I know the first few times I came here my experience was significantly better. I’m willing to give it another shot only because the kitchen staff are amazing at what they do.

Had a dinner with friends last week and received excellent service from Jorge. He was attentive and answered any questions we had about the steak choices. I ordered a steak tartare as an appetizer and loved it. Everything I tried had a lot of flavor. When we got dessert, Jorge added a candle to the ice cream as a nice touch.

We had an absolutely perfect evening at Echo and Rig. Even though we were running late, we were greeted graciously and sat quickly. The manager greeted us as soon as we were sat, and then the waiter introduced himself and consistently provided incredible service throughout the evening. The menu offered a lot of great choices, so we tried several items that were all delicious. They even brought out a small portion of the bacon for us to try. The cocktails were incredible, and the food was perfect. It is one of the best dining experiences we've ever had, and we will definitely be back. I have to say the exceptional staff made our experience at Echo and Rig a truly memorable experience.
