Pretty good sandwiches. Curly fries are okay. I recently tried the steak fries to change it up but I had to spit it out because it tasted like mold. I would still rate 5/5 because that’s the only issue I ever had over the few years I’ve been coming here.

It's the closest to a real "Philly cheesesteak" you can find in the West Coast. Which isn't saying much, but speaks volumes to those who know. It reminds me of the sandwich I had with my dad as a kid in West Chester Pennsylvania.

After NOT coming to this location for a couple years after they changed the bread I returned. I wasn't disappointed. I got the King of Philly Cheese Steak and added Chicken well done. It was so delicious. I really enjoyed my sandwich and can't wait to return. Thanks Cheese Steak Shop.

Delicious cheesesteak sandwiches. The curly fries are crisp and hot. The cashier was helpful with recommendations. Their busy time is usually after 5 pm during the week.

The ladies are AWESOME 👌. The king of Philly. OMG SUPER DELICIOUS!!! This place blew away all cheese steak shops. Hands down. All bay area cheese steaks new sheriff in town. Try it yourself castro valley, Oakland, SF, Walnut Creek. Can't touch this. Soft bread fresh the steak marinated steak fries super yum. Pinole has the best cheese steak! Remember fresh bread marinated steak. King of Philly was on hit. Don't forget tip your makers.

I like the food here. It doesn't take long to get your order. It's a better fast food place than others. I love the sweet potato fries. It's a good place to run into when shopping on the area. A quick bite to eat and your on your way. The girl working at counter was nice and had a good attitude.
