Brazilian fusion perfection. From the moment we walked in we were treated like old friends. The owner, Almir, greeted us at the door and gave us a tour of the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. The murals were so colorful. You have to get the Brazilian coffee with breakfast/brunch. Balanced and aromatic. We went with the suggested bowls and wrap and were really happy with that choice. Everything was fresh, full of flavor and obviously made with love. The grilled portobello mushrooms were some of the best I have had. The waitress and owner were so attentive during our visit. I would honestly come down to LAX early for a flight just to come back here!

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Erica and Grace, and I can confidently say they are two of the best bartenders I’ve ever encountered. Their professionalism, charisma, and attention to detail set them apart. From the moment I walked in, both Erica and Grace made me feel welcome with their warm smiles and friendly demeanor. They have an incredible knack for balancing efficiency with genuine hospitality, ensuring everyone feels attended to even during the busiest hours. The drinks they crafted were absolutely top-notch—perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and tailored to individual preferences. It’s clear they take pride in their work and truly enjoy what they do, which makes all the difference. Whether it’s a classic cocktail or a creative recommendation, they never miss the mark. What really impressed me was their teamwork and ability to keep the energy positive and engaging behind the bar. It’s rare to find a duo so in sync and dedicated to providing an outstanding experience. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Erica and Grace, you’re in for a treat. They elevate the entire atmosphere of the establishment and set the standard for excellent service. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a wonderful Brazilian excursion. Fantastic Brazilian food with a touch of Japanese fusion and vegan options. Comfortable and relaxing patio (dog friendly) and indoor dining with Jazzy music in the background. Courteous and prompt service. Overall an excellent dining experience. For brunch, we had Picanha Bowl, it was colorfully and festively presented, the medium steak was perfectly cooked. We added a fried egg which was a nice brunch touch. The Cheesy Dice was a special treat, must try if like a little fried appetizer! We asked for the pumpkin soup extra hot, they put the seeds and coconut cream on the side. It was great surprise with a hint of miso and ginger. 2 gender neutral restrooms that are clean. 3 parking spaces plus street parking.

So I’ve eaten here twice now and each experience has been absolutely top class. First time was for lunch and the second for dinner. As a matter of convenience, I find this little gem a quick hop from the LAX terminals. So if you’re traveling for business and need a really good meal, this is the place. They serve fusion Japanese Brazilian cuisine. So far I’ve tried the shrimp tacos, the Alaskan cod and their burger. All are super tasty. Though I would say the ambiance and their staff are what really takes the cake. Tapizon has this chic beach vibe. An open wrap around patio and glass bar, with some nice elegant touches. I was personally greeted by Almir and Jessica my waitress was engaging and friendly. I’m definitely becoming a regular whenever I’m in town.

Would definitely be back here! --although we're from NZ! The staff are so welcoming and friendly, the food is superb, price is reasonable. Lovely space, nestled in el segundo. Plus points for the detailed designs. You can walk to the park afterwards for some fresh air too. We met the owner who is very nice too.

Lovely brazilian place that I can’t recommend more of! The staff were so friendly and welcoming to us and the menu had a good variety. It was not restricted to only brazilian steak (which many brazilian restaurants tend to be) and had a decent amount of vegetarian/vegan options. The portions were perfect and definitely filled us up! The prices of both the drinks and food were reasonable as well. Definitely check it out :)

I came to Tapizôn for an event where I got to try their food for free, but I will be back because the people, the food, the music, the location, and the overall atmosphere were awesome! The items I was able to try: CHEESY DICE 4.5/5 This was one of my favorites. I was expecting more of a cheese flavor, but that didn’t detract from the dish. They have a chewy inside with crunchy outside. Imagine fried tapioca and that’s what this is like. The real star of the show is the sweet and spicy açaí sauce; it is fantastic with this! I’ve never had anything like it. PUMPKIN SOUP VEGANA 3.5/5 I am a huge pumpkin soup fan, so I was really looking forward to this dish. Tapizôn’s version is vegan and thus lacks the heaviness from traditional recipes which include lots of cream. It had a ginger forward taste which I really enjoyed. My only comment is that in my opinion, it needed more salt. GARLIC FRIED CHICKEN 3/5 These had a very mild garlic flavor; it wasn’t in your face. Most of the pieces had a great crunch, but a few were soggy. The lemon added a good acidity and I loved the additional flavor of the pickled onions. The dipping sauce provided was togarashi mayo, although I didn’t taste a lot of togarashi. AHI TUNA CRUDO 5/5 This was another favorite. This was so flavorful and the fish was so fresh. Yum! And I loved the tapioca paper chips. MOQUECA 4.5/5 This was a very mild fish which is how I like ‘em! I loved the peppers in it which contrasted well with the coconut cream. My only comment is that this also seemed to be under salted. BRAZILIAN BRIGADIERO 3.5/5 This dessert was surprising due to its consistency; I expected it to be a spoonful of chocolate pudding but man was it thick! It took time to eat… which meant more time to savor the flavor. ORIGINAL CAIPIRINHA 4.5/5 I enjoyed this cocktail and would get it again. It’s both light and refreshing. Mine was very lime forward in flavor. I would like to try their passion fruit flavored cocktail next time! PRIMA PAVE - Rosé dolce 5/5 I wish I asked for a second glass of this! I love that this is a nonalcoholic alternative for people who like wine. In addition to the wonderful food, original caipirinha cocktail, and non-alcoholic wine- all of which were fantastic, we also had the good fortune to try different flavors of a Brazilian energy drink brand called Soda Bossa. SODA BOSSA 5/5 I tried the passion fruit, guayana berry, and dragon fruit Pitaya flavors. My favorite was the passion fruit, because I’m obsessed with the sweet and sour flavor of that fruit. My second favorite was the guayana berry, followed by my third, the dragon fruit Pitaya. However, all of them were good and definitely something I would buy instead of traditional/common energy drinks. Soda Bossa is a much healthier and tastier option. I had a wonderful time, ate some delicious food, and now know a new place to go to. I definitely recommend you give this place a try and bring friends so you can share several dishes. Your experience, of course, will be different because I was here for an event, but I hope it will be equally as wonderful. And I can recommend them if you’re interested in hosting an event there because they did a wonderful job.

I would not recommend the tacos. The filling is great but they are too dry and fall apart easily. They are so dry in some parts of the tapioca tortilla that it made me cough. The black bean soup is good but needed the hot sauce to add some vinegar. The Cheesy Dice are worth a try. The spicy acai sauce it came with was very good.
