Contemporary gastropub at Crowne Plaza LAX offering wine, cocktails & casual American fare.

Customer Review Summary

Century Taproom is a recently remodeled bar located in the Crown Plaza Hotel, featuring a comfortable atmosphere with large booths and TVs. The service is fast and friendly, making it a nice dining experience despite being primarily a bar. The menu is limited but highly praised, with standout items like the French dip sandwich, poke nachos, and Caesar salad. However, there are mixed reviews regarding specific dishes like fried calamari and a pizza that some found disappointing. Overall, the restaurant offers decent food at slightly elevated prices due to its location near LAX, and cleanliness is noted. Parking is available for a fee, but validation is often given. The atmosphere is impacted negatively by loud music choices during some visits. While some customers have had great experiences, others have been frustrated by service issues and quality inconsistencies.

Recently remodeled; waitress said opened December 29, 2024. TVs in Bar area, large 6 person booths, high and low top tables and chairs; and socializing space. Yokoso Sushi Bar is beside the restaurant.

This really is a bar in the Crown Plaza Hotel, but they have some great food so we love it. We really don't drink, but give me a French dip sandwich or a burger and we are very happy. The service is really nice and it is fast. There are tables for you to dine at and a server will be with you right away. The menu is not huge, but everything on it is great. They really go out of their way to make their food great so it is just not a bar--but if you want to see a game there, this is the place to be. It is super clean. Parking is for a fee, but I recall them validating me last time. This place is close to LAX and perfect if waiting for a plane or someone getting off one. The hotel is also super nice. Have a fun time.

Very nice stuff ☺️☺️☺️ food also delicious in affordable prices taking into account the location. We have tried classic burger with chips and wings. Not too many photos as we were hungry 🤣 One thing that might be changed is packing the meals to take away. We were sitting in the restaurant and we were eating there also. That’s huge waste of plastic boxes

Decided to have dinner here since we were staying the night at the hotel. Service was really good. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Poke nachos were amazing! Huge portions too. Pricing was California hotel high but that's expected. Only real complaint...music was HORRIBLE. Screamo band stuff. Not relaxing at all.

Only reason we ate here, it was convenient at the time we arrived for our room. But was surprised that turkey club was decent tasting, little pricey but it was worth it. Miguel our host was attentive and friendly. Here are pics that I took. They are updated as other posted pics on Google maps are years old.

Expectations were, perhaps, too high for an airport hotel restaurant. We, perhaps, got too excited about our discount coupon. Our hunger may also have contributed to this disasterous meal. God knows. I love calamari, but beg anyone reading this to not order the fried calamari. Under. Any. Circumstances. I also generally love pizza, but the Garden Pizza was also downright gross. Crust was undercooked and the asparagus and olives seemed stale. My partner's Italian pasta was essentially ramen mixed with spaghetti sauce and a sliced meatball. The service was friendly enough, but it would have been nice to have been warned about the fact that we ordered way too much food. Needless to say, I forced down two slices of pizza and refused the offer of a to-go box. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant.

We ordered a $30 pizza. They said it would take 25 minutes and they would call us when it was ready. After an hour we went to find out where it was. It was cold and made from a very low quality frozen crust. Super overpriced. Not recommended at all 👎🏼

Surprisingly good hotel bar food. We walked here from another hotel and it was worth the effort. The Cesar salad was fresh and the French dip was super tasty and flavorful.
