We came to Hinata for the hibachi for my co-worker’s last day. We reserved a table for 5:30pm and we were seated beforehand in a private room with the hibachi. Drinks and appetizers were quick to come out and since it was between 3-6pm, the we got Happy Jour prices on select drinks, sushi rolls and appetizers. For the hibachi, we each choose our main entree (each entree includes miso soup, salad, 3 grilled shrimp appetizer, grilled vegetables, fried rice and scoop or vanilla or matcha ice cream). Henry was our chef and he did a wonderful job with his cooking skills and jokes. We got to experience fire, Henry squirting sake into our mouths, Henry flipping pieces of egg into our mouths and fire juggling at the end of his service. There were quite a few out of our crown of 10 people that have never experienced hibachi dinner before, so they thought it was a lot of fun. The prices for hibachi $33 to $75 depending on your entree selection (most items were under $40). The flavor or the food was good overall and not overly salty. I had the Hibachi Steak (New York Steak) which was cooked to about medium well (I asked for medium), but was still tender and juicy. The grilled shrimp and grilled chicken (tasted my co-worker’s dish) were good as well. Overall, it was a fun experience for everyone and we would consider coming here again for a future after work event.

The man behind bar older man was the best restaurant service. Even though speaking a different language language, he took care of business. He even told the waiter I was ready. A different waiter had to come in. Don’t get the crazy monkey. Overall was pretty good.

A great location to sit at the bar with a beer while you wait for an order to take home. Friendly staff.

A very busy Japanese Steakhouse, one of my Cali families favourite restaurant. My big familia fits in one room and the Chef was hilarious. Everything was delicious including the matcha ice cream

Dinner and a show! The food is always fantastic. I love the filet but everything we have had is really good. Some chefs are better at the show than others but it’s always fun! One half of the restaurant is for hibachi and the other is not. You can also order off the sushi menus if you are doing hibachi.

We brought our son here for his 30th birthday and it started off good 😊 The gentlemen who did our Hibachi table was great. However after that was when things changed. The lady that was helping at this table with drinks ,collecting dishes and checking to see how we were doing seemed some what forgetful. Drinks took for ever to get and one time my husband had to go to the bar to get it . We waited on drinks for awhile. However what really upset me was we had just paid our bill and were visiting and were asked to leave 😮 WTH! They needed to seat someone else at this table. Now it does not state anywhere on the table or online that there is a timeline on the tables. I found it to be very rude and unprofessional. This happening will definitely make it difficult to return. Maybe you need to space out your reservations or post that online that Hibachi tables have a designated time frame due to other reservations m. Do better !

First off Food and Service was great! There was a few funny little things but nothing major. I thought it was a little interesting that all the Christmas decorations were still up and it’s March. 😂 also all of our to go boxes were all broken in the same place and would not stay closed so they gave us all rubber bands. That was a little interesting. As far as the food goes it was delicious I got the steak and lobster hibachi and it was a ton of food. I got steak, lobster, fried rice, 2 shrimp appetizer, miso soup, salad, and a scoop of ice cream. I would definitely come back I don’t care if they celebrate Christmas year around 😂🎄❤️
