Customer Review Summary
Vic Stewart's offers a lovely ambiance with a moody, romantic atmosphere and attentive service. While some dishes, like the lobster bisque and surf and turf, received mixed reviews, many diners enjoyed the steak options and unique drink selections. However, several reviews noted that the food lacked seasoning and some were disappointed with the value for the price. Positive experiences were highlighted by excellent service and special touches for occasions, but there were also mentions of slow service and inadequate meal quality on certain visits. Overall, the restaurant is generally well-regarded for its environment and staff, though food consistency appears to be a concern.

A few friends and I visited here for one of my birthday celebrations. We wanted to dress up, have a nice dinner while staying close to home. There aren't that many fine dining experiences on our side of town so I thought we would try them out. I don't eat steak but looking over the menu prior to booking the reservation I felt they had enough choices for me to enjoy the meal. The restaurant's ambiance is great. It's a little dark and moody in the dining room with wonderful light installations to set the mood. Our server was attentive and efficient. We shared the roasted garlic for an appetizer and I had the lobster bisque and the wedge salad. I would have preferred the food had a little more seasoning but my friends enjoyed their salads so everyone was happy. We ordered the flourless chocolate cake with ice cream and the cheesecake for dessert to end the evening on a sweet note.

I've passed by this place numerous times and finally made it a point to stop in. Service here IS exceptional and I'd return for that aspect alone. The food, whilst a touch pricey, is VERY good yet the menu did had some...interesting combinations. Almost as if they out thought themselves at times. However, the fact that they have 49er club offerings suggests to me, a refined and enlightened dining establishment whereby you may (and i DID) lord this over Raider fans at work or home. Very petty I'm aware but, a must nonetheless. I don't drink and I'm in recovery for cancer so nonalcoholic beverages were more than enough for me. Never knew they was "PREMIUM" root beer but...there is and...they HAD it, good stuff. In fact, in my opinion this place is centered around the wine and beverages even more than the steak. If you want to treated to a wide wide range of choices then, this is definitely the place.

Came here for my sons birthday tonight. Ordered the surf and turf which was awful! And when the bill came, it was $135?! Our entire bill was $270 for 3 people and that’s with no alcoholic drinks. When I called to expressed my disappointment to the manager ( named David) the only “help” he could offer is to tell me to ask for the price before ordering that next time….lol. I don’t mind paying higher prices when the taste and quality is actually there, but it’s definitely not at Vic Stewart’s. For a place that’s advertised as a nice steakhouse- I expected so much better. Don’t come here.

Customer service was very good the only thing food was very blend no seasoning to it all. Preparation and the presentation of it all was a five star. Awesome for date night!

Really neat place and atmosphere. There are several different areas to eat in. We got to sit in a big beautiful booth, all to ourselves, just the 2 of us. It was the Owner's Booth. Went into to get steaks, but ended up ordering onion rings, lobster bisque, and the steak salad. Lobster bisque was a bad choice. Steak salad was great and so were the onion rings. Also had a fabulous drink--Pear Wrangler. Super amazing!!! They even gave us a chocolate mousse for husband's birthday dinner. We had a super nice server, but can't remember her name. Parking was easy and the place was clean. We went in around 530 or 6 on Saturday night and got seated right away.

Our reservation was at 8:30 on Valentines Day and we were promptly seated by the fire place, it was cozy! However, our server was inattentive and the food was not served until 9:45pm. The chicken Marsala was dry, rubbery and inedible. I sent it back and didn't get to have a meal because the kitchen was closed. Thanks for a horrible experience!

This is our first time dining at Vic Stewart's. We love the ambience, the layout, and the live music in the bar seating area. We ordered crispy calamari, Porterhouse steak, ribeye steak, cheesecake, sparkling sangria, and juice blend which was very refreshing and not too sweet. The steaks were huge and juicy. The baked potatoes and cheesecake were so delicious. Last but not least, a surprise & special anniversary dessert! 👍 Our server, Matt Calli, was very attentive making sure we got everything.

I would give more than five stars. The ambiance is lovely and romantic. We were seated near the fireplace. Our starter was Seared Ahi Tuna with pickled seaweed salad, ginger and wasabi, which was sumptuous. We shared a caesar salad, served in wonderful flatware. Our entree's were Filet Mignon with Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes and Porterhouse with a blue cheese crust with Scalloped potatoes. Our side with Mushroom Caps with blue cheese crumbles. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly.
