I heard a guy at the bar ask why they do not expand. (About an hour wait) The bartender replied it would ruin the ambiance. So true. Love the old school vibe and menue!! The ribeye was cooked perfectly, and the prime rib was perfect. Pasta was pasta, veggies slightly over cooked, but who cares. The calamari was utterly perfect and fantastic! Soup was a semi thick minestrone perfect not runny. The salad was a salad. The bread was so flavorful. Prices? Well, it can't beat the value in today's market. We'll done. With only 4 employees on the floor, you guys handled it like a well-oiled machine! Parking sucks but it's enough to fill the house and have overflow.

My nephew treated us to a meal here. We were a big group (10 people) so we had to wait a bit. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The restaurant is known for its cheap drinks (according to my cousins). Anyway we were seated as soon as a big space opened up. The food is plentiful here. You order a main dish (I got the calamari steak) and it is accompanied by soup, salad, sides, bread etc. It's just overwhelming to me. I just ate small portions of the soup and the calamari. The rest of my group dived in and finished everything. They love this restaurant and go as often as possible. It's a very down home place, with friendly staff and big portions. Like a neighborhood joint. Also, they only accept cash. I thought I was the only one who ever carried cash these days!! 🤣🤣

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. A triple cocktail? Yes please and thank you!! And the prices were unbelievable! I will definitely be back❤️

The service was outstanding—our waiter was friendly, efficient, and made great recommendations. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, paired perfectly with buttery biscuits and a tangy gravy. The cozy, rustic vibe with soft country music playing in the background made it feel like we were dining at a friend’s home.

Great food, excellent customer service, cozy atmosphere, in a rainy day what can better than this?? Prime ribs was excellent, price is fantastic, my baby really love their pasta, looks normal but something magic about it! Ribeye and prime steak both were good, love the sesame bread!! Highly recommend this place, if you are within an hour distance, worth the drive totally! Always amazed by family business.

We went to this restaurant/bar that has been in business a very long time!!! The food is fantastic, all sides are set, you just have to pick your meat! The bread is warm and moist! The minestrone is flavourful and served family style The salad is tasty, but could use more than lettuce and 1 piece of salami. My steak was cooked perfectly as asked and had lots of flavor! They also have good drinks and especially for the price! Only real compliant is that the place was very hot! Antioch is a hot place!!! You need decent AC!

There are a few options for those of us who don't eat beef, but the soup does not work if you have a beef allergy. The whole experience is a unique local gem. You need to go in and get your name on the list, but then you wait outside or at the bar. The staff are efficient and no nonsense.

This place has been here forever! My 3rd time here. Food is good with very large portions. Just like the old days where you get soup AND salad! Also, the bread is great! I ordered the Prime Rib this time, it was cooked perfectly and came with veggies + pasta with red meat sauce. The steak is pretty good as well. Tip: Show up early to get a table with no waiting. If you show up later in the evening, be prepared for a good wait.
