About The 4 Seasonings Steakhouse - steak house in Antioch, California
Customer Review Summary
The 4 Seasonings Steakhouse has a nice decor, but service issues overshadow the experience. The beer served was mostly foam and took multiple requests to arrive. Salads had brown pieces of romaine, and while the salmon was inconsistent, the macaroni and cheese was grainy and not well-received. The strip steak had great grill marks but was tough and bland, not meeting the medium-rare request, and the sides were overcooked. Service was slow and disorganized despite the restaurant not being busy. Some customers appreciated the staff and drinks, noting a great dirty martini and good service from certain employees. Overall, mixed experiences with many feeling the quality did not justify the price, with some stating they would not return.

The wife took me out for a date tonight at the 4 seasons steakhouse. The decore is nice, the chandelier they have is beautiful. I had to ask for my beer 3 times before it came 3/4 full and mostly foam. The bartender said it was a new keg and it needed 24 hours to settle, which anyone with a kegorator knows isn't true. The line needed to be purged, easy fix. The house salad was tasty, a few brown pieces of romaine in both my wife's and mine. I got the strip steak and my wife got the salmon. Half of her salmon was juicey and flaky, the other half was the opposite. She got the macaroni and cheese, the sauce was broken and very grainy, she had 2 bites, I had 1 and that was it. The strip steak had beautiful diamond patern grill marks on it and looked perfect. It needed a chainsaw to get through it though. Easily the toughest strip steak I've ever had, it was a workout on my chaw. The flavor was bland, mostly char, it was dying for salt, which isn't provided on the tables. I've literally had a better steak at sixzler. I asked for medium rare and it came out medium to well. It came with roasted whole garlic bulb but it was so over cooked you couldn't squeeze the garlic out. The loaded baked potato was severely overcooked and tasted like it. I really got the feeling that the steak was par cooked. Our server was pretty lost with his 2 tables, I felt for him but he was terrible. It took 15-20 minutes to get the bill after asking multiple times, there seemed to be some confusion with the host and our server over the table number, which caused them to scramble around for several minutes. Many pieces of the business seemed broken, it was a very clunky service for only having 3 tables to work with, I could understand if they were slammed but it was quite the opposite. I love supporting local businesses but I won't be back. This place is far to expensive for the experience you receive in my opinion. There wasn't one endearing quality to speak of.

I’ve only stopped in to get a drink and meet the people. The bartender Aaron was very nice and knowledgeable and has a long history in the bar industry and made a great whiskey sour. Can’t wait to go back and eat.
