Customer Review Summary
The pasta at Renzo's Pasta & Italian Steakhouse is highly praised, with standout dishes like meatballs and lasagna. However, the steak and sides were often considered disappointing and not worth the price. Service experiences varied; some patrons reported long waits and unhelpful staff, while others had excellent service from specific servers. A few reviews noted issues with food quality, including cold appetizers, bland entrees, and poorly executed sides like mashed potatoes. Overall, while some diners enjoyed their meals and the atmosphere, many expressed mediocrity in both food and service, suggesting inconsistency in the dining experience.

The pasta was extremely good. The steaks were OK, I don't think they were worth the price, exactly. The service was ok, it was in the middle of a snow storm and they were probably short handed.

20241116: Visited Renzo's in Springdale, AR, hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but it turned out to be quite mediocre. The wait staff, though clearly busy, took a significant amount of time to take our order. The food overall was marginal—appetizers arrived cold and overcooked, while the entrees of salmon with zoodles along with the chicken and shrimp with angel hair pasta were disappointingly bland. A notable option was the zoodles for keto diners, but they were undercooked and hard to enjoy though the salmon on top was cooked appropriately. One highlight was the bread, which was delicious, but it took asking to receive butter, oil and vinegar, and when we did, the butter was melted rather than in convenient pats. On the positive side, there was ample seating, and we only had a short wait even right after a Razorback game. However, the overall experience was underwhelming, and we won’t be returning.

We came here after a holiday midweek and there was almost no one there. It definitely made us nervous to stay, but we took a chance, and boy, were we Soooooooo glad! The manager ended up being our waitress, and she was amazing! Her attitude, suggestions about the menu and the drinks she made were fantastic! The food... was even BETTER! My hubby is still raving about the meatballs and Italian sausages a day later! 10/10 recommend!!!

We had dinner here on a business trip with the folks from Tyson. I ordered the steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The waiter was a bit distracted. I asked for a Negroni cocktail, and he brought out a Peroni beer 🤣 - Negroni Peroni… i get it. He mentioned he didn’t know what that was but he could look it up on his phone. I ended up settling with a GT. We also ordered some appetizers. He mentioned that they did not have any pesto. The chef was creative in adding pesto sauce to the tomatoes and mozzarella. The main course was very disappointing. The steak was kind of OK, but the mashed potatoes were absolutely horrible. It was like eating pure salt. I actually had to spit out my first bite. Other guests who orders the same had the exact same complaint. Not sure what went wrong there in the kitchen. Overall very forgettable experience.

Wife loves Italian, me not so much. I tried the lasagne with with spicy sausage. I'm in love. She had chicken parm and it was amazing as well. Rebecca is an amazing waitress and was on top of everything. Literally nothing bad to say. So much flavor

Great fresh Italian food. Lasagna is always my litmus test for Italian restaurants and Renzo's knocked it out of the park. I'd almost forgot to take a photo I was so busy eating. Had a great experience overall. The reviews on here were also a reason I wanted to visit. I appreciate a local business that takes the time to respond to each and every review (not matter how ridiculous some of them are). I'll definitely be back to try some other dishes.

Dylan the server is the only reason this place is being given the one star… This place was truly a disappointment. This was my bf and i s first time here and it was not what we were expecting. The server woman first sat us down and looked annoyed that we came in. (Looks like they were short staffed and I get it but don’t make us feel unwanted). She took us to a booth that had dirty seats and expected us to sit there and not mention it. So I had to ask if she could clean it. Again she looked annoyed. She took our order and just said she’d be out with our bread and salad. So we were waiting for a while for the complimentary bread and a small salad that came with our entrees. Maybe 20 minutes passed by and no sign of her. There was another server there who had other tables so we weren’t expecting him really. We saw him tend to his other tables and were respectful and attentive. Dylan the server finally came to us and asked if she’s appeared at all. We said no and he proceeded to be an amazing server and get us our salads. New drinks. And brought our food out! The food wasn’t great. Ordered the pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes. Too much stuff was going on and the pork chop seemed like it was barely done cooking. The mashed potatoes also looked like it was just sitting there for a while before they brought it out. My bf and I were so appreciative that at least someone recognized us and attended us. Again, even after all Dylan did, the woman server did not come and apologize or check up on us. Dylan truly needs a raise and more recognition for being just a kind person.

Fantastic food, and fantastic service!! The sauce on both my husband’s and my entrees was absolutely delicious! I recommend the Ravioli Rosa🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🔥🔥🔥 Do go and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, friendly waitstaff, and a quality meal! Pic is of what we took home afterward… true to form for Italian, it might’ve been even better next day! 😉
