We were in the town for JP Morgan Chase training in Tempe, AZ! Heard a lot about the quality of the steaks of this place. Glad we chose the restaurant for dinner. I had Crab cakes for appetizer. And had 16 oz Ribeye steak as the main dish. Their House Salad was excellent. It was very delicious. If I go back to the town, I will certainly visit again.

I love the high quality of this steakhouse without the need to get all fancy or dressed up. I came here for my father in law’s birthday and it surpassed expectations. The food was so good. I ordered the Chateaubriand for Two and it was the perfect amount of food all in 1. I ordered it rare and it was so tender and juicy. I loved the flavor and texture. The Parmesan potatoes were my favorite side and the creamed horseradish was my favorite “sauce”. All of it was good though. I do wish the sides were more hot. When the food came out, it was cool/slightly warm. Tom and the rest of the wait staff were so friendly and attentive. They did great! The atmosphere was western and casual/seme formal. A nice dinner to enjoy with parents, grandparents, or a date

We’ve wanted to visit the Stockyards Restaurant for years, having been born and raised in Arizona. So, when we visited Phoenix this week, we decided to celebrate two family birthdays there. It was wonderful. The restaurant oozes with history, with interesting decor adorning the walls. The food was spectacular. We ordered the chateaubriand for two, and every bite was lean, tender and delicious. The wedge salad was a great start, and for dessert one of us ordered the sour cream cheesecake and the other ordered pecan pie. Again, every bite was delicious. To top it all off, the wait staff was perfect: friendly and attentive. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Great classic steak house for the ages. It's expensive but you get the service and food quality to match. If you like any of the traditional old western bar restaurants this is one of the best anywhere in the world. It's a go-to favorite for business meetings and when you want a great steak. Highly recommend

I moved to Arizona earlier this year and I had discovered this steakhouse by searching for a restaurant that serves steak on google maps. I am so glad I found this place. This week was my birthday and we decided to go celebrate it here and give this place a try. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time. This restaurant has an amazing atmosphere full of western artwork, historical photos and other beautiful decor. There really is a magical ambience there and the entire time we felt like we had stepped back in time almost. Our server was amazing and explained that our booth was the favorite seat of John Wayne, Barry Goldwater and also that numerous other famous celebrities had sat in the exact same booth as us. This fact alone was awesome but it didn’t stop there. We ordered our food and it was easily among the best I’ve ever had. I got a house salad, New York strip and the parmesan potatoes as my side dish and it was all perfect. My steak was cooked to perfection. The parmesan potatoes were the best potato dish I’ve ever had before. I highly recommend them. My girlfriend ordered the salmon dish with the garlic potatoes and she said it was perfect. At the end of our dinner we were given a choice of dessert to select for my birthday. I ended up choosing the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and wow it was fantastic. We were too full to eat it at the restaurant but our server kindly agreed to pack it up for us so we could take it home to eat. A few hours later we decided to have it and it is now one of my favorite desserts. Overall you gotta try this place if you enjoy great food and history. This has to be one of the best, if not the best steakhouse in all of Arizona. You will not be disappointed if you come here. I will definitely be back here again and I plan to take family and friends that come to visit me.

Went in on a Monday night with 4 people while traveling for work. We were seated within 10 mins. The seating is in a big booth half circle style which was cool. The servers were very knowledgeable and professional. The decor and waiting area has appropriate decor and you feel like you are in a fancy steakhouse. I ordered the cobb salad and the white fish. The salad was crisp and a whole quarter of an iceberg lettuce. The dressing was delightful and great crisp starter. The fish was perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside and soft and tasty inside. It came with mash and asparagus and it was the perfect accompaniment to the fish. It was on the pricier side but was definitely worth it.

Ribeye and Parmesan Potatoes are delicious. Good wine and bourbon selection as well. No reservation and only a 5 min wait.

The steak was excellent. Cooked it exactly as asked and piping hot on the inside. We were able to enjoy with a lobster tail that wasn't even on the menu. So, if you want surf and turf, just ask. The waitress was quick and helpful. We were celebrating a birthday and got a free desert, but it was more than enough food. We paid actually less than expected, so know that you are getting a good value when coming here. The ambiance harkens to an updated saloon, which you can see in my pictures. Can't wait to come again with some other folk.
