Love coming to Dominick’s. Service is always impeccable. Spent a few hours here tonight for our anniversary dinner on the third floor by the reflecting(?) pool. It’s a Thursday night and the entire restaurant is completely packed with diners. Pretty loud with all the muffled conversations. Hard to hear your companion. Reminded me of being inside a collocation with the humming computer back ground noises. Restaurant started clearing out around 8 pm and became much more relaxing. Cocktails were delicious. Homemade garlic, parmesan rolls were warm and scrumptious. Absolutely loved the warm, poached egg atop the Caesar salad. My bleu cheese topped filet and cheesy scalloped potato side were each a bit too salty for my liking. Dessert, a layered, key lime pie, was a creamy delight. Valet parking is also great. Loved each and every server we met. 🎶 Simply the best, better than all the rest! 🎶 Looking forward to the next visit.

Throughout our marriage my husband and I have been to countless restaurants to celebrate many milestones. Peter Lugers, The 21 Club & Tavern on the Green in NY (when they were operating), Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas, Ruth’s Chris in SC, NJ, MD, Nobu in Scottsdale, and many other high end restaurants throughout the states & abroad. Dominic‘s trumped them all. The services we’ve received here was unparalleled: it started with the valets, who opened up our doors and held my hand to get out. We checked ✔️ in with the hostess and had a few minutes before our table was ready (we arrived 15 min earlier). We went to the bar to get a cocktail while waiting for our table & the bartenders were so kind & knowledgeable. When the table was ready a hostess came with a tray to carry our drinks and escorted us upstairs. Just the fact that the restaurant sent someone to carry out beverages speaks volumes! Those sweet details! As we were walking upstairs all staff welcomed us. We were upstairs by the reflecting pool, beautiful atmosphere. My husband requested a flower arrangement for our anniversary & it was presented beautifully on display in a table for four, even though there were only two of us; that’s because the flower arrangement that my husband pre-purchased from Dominick’s took up so much table space. Once we got seated a nice young gentleman came to our table, wished us a happy anniversary and introduced himself-Rubin, and said he would assist our server so we got the best dining experience. Our server Heather- looks like a super model and provided the best service imaginable. I cannot even call her a server- more like a food consultant. She recommended the best menu items without pushing or upselling. The manager, Paul, came to our table on a few occasions to make sure we were satisfied with the service & that the staff went above & beyond to make our anniversary memorable. The food: if you think that a good steak is a right piece of meet cooked at the right temp- u are wrong!!! My husband got a Butchers cut rib eye steak and it was PHENOMENAL!!! I have never tasted anything like that!!! And we’ve have had top of the line steaks, including wagyu. The side of king crab leg that was delicious and perfectly vertically cut thru the center. We’ve had amazing crab in NY, California, Maryland & South Carolin… And this topped them all! I had sea bass Oscar style which was out of this world! We also got appetizers and sides that were delicious, including black caviar. We’ve caviar in Russia on many occasions, and this competes on that level! The restaurant provided us with a complimentary dessert; we chose a key lime pie and it was phenomenal! Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back again And the cherry on top was the incredible selfless staff that was all hands on deck! They called beforehand & the day after to ensure our Silver Anniversary was everything we’d had hoped for. It was even better! In fact, it could not have been any better thanks to Dominick’s Steakhouse ambience, atmosphere, excellence, superiority, presentation, food & of course the AMAZING STAFF!

My husband and I had a weekend getaway in Scottsdale for our anniversary. We live in Texas and we love food. Especially steak. I love to research places to eat by reading reviews. We rarely eat at a place below 4.5 stars. We got in on a Friday and I made a last minute reservation at Dominick’s after reading many favorable reviews. We love Del Frisco’s, Eddie V’s, Nick and Sam’s and many other top steakhouses in Texas. Dominick’s was the best customer service out of any restaurant we have ever been to! They checked in with me before our reservation and the next day after. Who does that? Every single person greeted us as we walked to our table. We also got a handwritten card. My husband already wants to plan a trip back for the chicken fried lobster and corn crème brûlée. We both had a ribeye that was great. It was such a fun atmosphere, not stuffy at all like some of these restaurants can be. Do something nice for you and anyone special, plan a night at Dominick’s! Thanks for making our 5 year anniversary one to remember!!

Dominick’s Steakhouse delivers an upscale dining experience with top-tier service, an elegant atmosphere, and an attention to detail that elevates the meal. Our waiter, Viona, was incredibly attentive, even offering a warm lavender towel between courses, adding a luxurious touch. The complimentary bread, served in a hot skillet, was a standout—soft, pillowy, with perfectly melted butter and a layer of cheese that added just the right amount of flavor and salt. The Blackberry Bourbon cocktail had a deep red hue with a bold mix of citrus, bitterness, and sweetness, making for a complex yet enjoyable drink. The King Crab + Avocado Stack was flavorful but leaned heavily on the crab, slightly overpowering the avocado, though the sauce helped balance it out. The Chicken Fried Lobster, served with a green aioli sauce, had a texture more reminiscent of fish and chips than traditional lobster—tender and delicious but messy, making it less ideal for a date night. The Bone-in Ribeye was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal, perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and bursting with flavor, served on an almost oven-hot plate that kept every bite warm. Paired with the rich peppercorn sauce, it was a next-level steak experience. The Hasselback Potatoes, while flavorful, could have been crispier, though the sauce made up for some of that. Overall, Dominick’s excels in creating a refined yet indulgent dining experience, where nearly every dish impresses, making it an easy five-star spot for steak lovers.

We took our granddaughter here for her birthday; she has eaten here before, and assured us it would be excellent. Rest assured she was absolutely correct! The steaks were some of the best we have had, and the sides were too much to handle. We took four boxes of leftovers to go. The cauliflower side was the best I have ever had in a restaurant, and the baked potato was enough for two. The service was fabulous. Expect to be greeted upon entry, and as you are led to your table, multiple people will welcome you as you are led to your table. We were fortunate to eat on the second level near the pool. We started early, but by 6:30 every table was full. We enjoyed a cookies and cream dessert as they opened to moveable roof to a clear sky. If you want an elegant dining experience in Scottsdale, I don't think you could regret choosing Dominick's. Be prepared for the prices, but the experience and the food is worth every penny!

First time dining there. Beautiful and comfortable decor and friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were seated upstairs. We started with the pork belly appetizer. The meat itself was cooked appropriately but extremely bland. The Thai chili sauce was neither Thai nor spicy but absolutely tasteless. Desperately needed salt as well. This was not a great start. We then had the veal chop and the Chilean sea bass. Both were cooked perfectly but the lack of salt and seasoning is not an acceptable outcome. We chose the wild mushrooms and Brussels sprouts. Once again the lack of salt and taste took away the excitement. But also, please cook the Brussels sprouts so we are not eating virtually raw vegetables. That trend of not cooking vegetables is really more than annoying. It actually takes away the pleasure of really tasting your food. Don’t cut corners and season the food. This is a high end restaurant. Match the food to that standard.

The friend had the bone-in filet, and I had the New York strip. I must say the NY strip was "filet tender." I added Oscar style that really wasn't worth the extra cost. Tiny crab cake and a tiny drizzle of bernaise sauce and a couple of asparagus spears. We got the corn Brule, which was delicious. Also ordered the brussel sprouts that were a little tough and somewhat under cooked. I am not sure when they switched from brewed iced tea to tea from a bottle, but the tea in the bottle was terrible and not worth the price. Why don't they have brewed ice tea? Speaking of drinks, my friend had diet coke that was $4.50 per tiny bottle 😳. Friend got the key lime pie for dessert, and it wasn't what I was expecting. I love key lime pie, but not this. The reason was the HUGE layer of something else above the key lime. Hillstone's key lime pie is still the best.

Soooo...... must be fair and true. Frankly, everything was exquisite. A little pricey, but you truly pay for quality, I'm just not sure that you have to pay 45 dollars for four shrimps to have quality, but that's their price and we agreed to it. My steak was also fantastic and pricey, and if i have a couple of complaints, maybe more a concern would be that the plate the steak comes on was super super super hot, so hot that you would get a blister, thinking that it's not really paramount to have plates THAT hot. The steaks were awesome, however that was it. Just a steak. I don't know, maybe a ball of garlic butter with parsley, or a couple carrots to jazz the hot plate up a little bit would be a nice touch. And to finish this review, the music.. the music so does not go with the ambiance, the atmosphere. I think a little Blank and Jones, or 7&5 (wavercrest) or jjos, Sinatra, something softer, something where you are not having to talk loud to your other half because it's, one too loud, and not enjoyable, so everyone speaks loud. Anyway, it was for my birthday, dessert was great, I'm not sure if it was on the tab because i didn't see it. It also had real gold leaves, i ate gold !!!!! This place could give Paris, eiffel tower restaurant a run for its money , but where they are striving in quality service and food, they are striking on some really minor details, but i feel it needed to be addressed. Will we go back ? Yes.... but it will need to be a good reason.
