Good atmosphere. I would recommend making a reservation. Got the fish and chips, which was delicious. Wifey got the salmon and was very pleased. Also tried the chicken egg rolls. Great sports bar atmosphere with outside dining.

Stopped here for dinner and highly recommend it! Menu had a lot of tasty options and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful with deciding. Drinks were spot on, and the atmosphere was great. Spinach artichoke dip for appetizer was delicious and I put my trust in the waiter and got the crispy chicken for entree. The chicken and crab worked perfectly together. Portions were perfectly sized, had no room for dessert.

I had reservations at 6:00 on my last Saturday evening in Phoenix. Upon arrival we asked to sit outside even though we requested inside. Outside seating is more of a quick patio vibe but inside seems nicer and like a different vibe?? Our server was great. We had an appetizer and our entrees all of which were excellent. The prices were fantastic as well for 2 people!

The Arrogant Butcher was pretty good. It didn't start out on the right foot, as we were seated outside, but moved to the bar after never getting service outside. After moving to the bar, we didn't have any issues, and the staff, food, and ambiance was great. I got a margarita, which was excellently made, and my guests said that their beers were pretty good as well. I didn't personally get anything to eat, but my friend who did said that their food was excellent. All-in-all, it's a great restaurant, but perhaps they need better coordination between staff members. Like I said, we were seated outside, but it seemed like nobody else on the staff had been made aware of that. If they can get that part down, it's a 5/5!

Visiting the Arrogant Butcher located in downtown Phoenix by the Footprint Center was an enjoyable experience for me. Coming from the east coast, I decided to take in Phoenix Suns basketball game. Arrived a little early so decided on this corner spot as the curb appeal drew me in. The menu is packed with options for appetizers/snacks or a full meal. While I went with the wings (cooked to perfection) and brussel sprouts, everything that I could see coming out of the kitchen looked fabulous. Many beer options to choose. All menu items looked reasonably priced.

Thoroughly unimpressed. 2 of our favorite restaurants are Fox restaurants and we heard so many good things about the Arrogant Butcher but the was just meh. Not terrible but not good. The Jambalaya was too salty and had no flavor other than just spicy. My wife got a burger and it was overcooked, dry and flavorless. Won’t waste our time coming back.

I dropped in for an early dinner as I was staying next door at the Kimpton. I was able to grab a seat at the bar which was great as it’s such a buzz of activity and also big screens playing NFL game. The server was super nice with recommending cocktails, grab the pineapple gold rush for a light fruity fresh flavour. For dinner I had the French dip - wow, really good! Meat was tender, cheese was melted perfectly and the French dip jus had a deep flavour. Portion size is generous but manageable. Great atmosphere as the place is super lively and the service is quick even though it was very busy. Great choice for the area.

I visited The Arrogant Butcher on my last visit to Phoenix. I made a reservation for 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening. I came in a told the hostess that I had a reservation and she told my friend and I that we had to sit at the bar. I asked if I could sit at an empty table in the corner facing a tv. I was told no because there was a reservation. The second hostess who turned out to be a manager told me there were no tables and tables were for reservations. I told her I had a reservation and she went through the reservations as she didn’t believe had one. I was annoyed because I could tell she didn’t believe me and after she went through the trouble of looking it was pointless because she told me I had to sit in the back of the restaurant or at the bar. I have a disability and said repeatedly that it was difficult for me to sit at a high table. I hadn’t ate so I just said don’t worry about it as I was hungry and didn’t feel well. I sat at the bar with my friend. The bartender was extremely nice and accommodating. She was helpful with the drinks and my lemon drop was amazing. My friend ordered some drink and said it was good. The manager did come back and apologize for the mix up and tried to get us a table . She also ordered us pretzels for the table which was kind . The atmosphere was really nice and I loved being able to see the food be cooked. I love the aesthetic. I ordered the spinach dip and it was very filling and it was good. I felt like the dip was good but was missing something. I’d give the dip a 4/5. The lemon drop a 5/5, the salmon 4/5, and the salad a 3/5. I was also unaware that the manager took our drinks off of our tab. Overall it was a decent experience and I plan to go back. I’d like to give them another chance and try their steak as the patron next to me ranted and raved about the steak!
