About Sizzler - steak house in Phoenix, Arizona

Longtime casual restaurant known for its steak, burgers & seafood, plus a salad bar.

Customer Review Summary

Sizzler remains a beloved spot for many, with a consistent quality and flavor that customers have enjoyed for decades. The Trio, featuring steak, Malibu Chicken, and shrimp, receives high praise, especially with the recent addition of mushrooms and onions. The salad bar is well-stocked and fresh, adding to the overall appeal. However, there are concerns about restroom cleanliness and odors that can deter customers. While some diners have experienced friendly service and good food, there are reports of inconsistent meal quality, such as undercooked steaks and unsatisfactory portion sizes for the price. Overall, Sizzler garners a mix of positive and negative feedback, with particular emphasis on the need for better food preparation and restroom maintenance.

An all time favorite and after so many decades it has been consistent with quality and flavor. Childhood favorite since the early 80's. I had the Trio. Steak, Malibu Chicken and shrimp. It never fails. Their steaks are much better than more expensive steakhouses, especially when you consider the price. It's been a while since I went to a Sizzler. Now you can add mushrooms and onions to your steak on the Trio. I don't remember that being available. It was fabulous!!! And their golden shrimp will always be a treat. The salad bar looks like it always has as well. Lots to chose from, well stocked and fresh. You can't go wrong there either. Please keep up the quality and consistency in all your menu. It's a rarity these days.

Great food, great service, fairly clean but the restroom had a really bad odor in it. The kinda thing that turns customers off to dining there. Sizzler's should really consider remodeling and repairing the restrooms.

My friend & I had an all-you-can-eat salad buffet, my niece had a Bacon cheeseburger, The food was good, The waitress was nice, But the cashier was not nice/friendly, I went back another day with my my sister and her husband, The price he paid for his salmon Was to much $$ for the portion he got, My broccoli soup tasted like it was sitting there for awhile, unhappy with my 2nd visit

The all you can eat salad bar, either stand alone or with your favorite steak, chicken or burger. The atmosphere is that of a standard restaurant. The staff is attentive. The food is good I often order the steak and its cooked to perfection and depending on your choice of rareness could vary. Overall an amazing place and recommend it.

I really love this place. I wish they would open more of them in Arizona, because it's quite a drive. But it is worth the drive. I grew up going to Sizzler all the time when I was little, and glad that I still can go to this one whenever I get the taste for it.

I spent 50.00 on my food and my steak was not done. I couldn't cut through it. I asked for it to be well done. I also asked for A1 sauce never got it. I wanted mashed potatoes and I ordered it but I was given a baked potato plain. I was very unhappy. I door dashed the food and it was not like I thought it would be. I'm giving 0 stars because I thought I was gonna get a good steak and it wasn't. I couldn't eat it. They need better cooks in there when someone says well done. I feel like I wasted my money. Also my husband didn't get the stuff I requested as seen in the picture for his baked potato.

This establishment exhibits a commendable aesthetic and appears to uphold the essence of the Sizzler experience. Regrettably, my sole visit there was marred by a series of setbacks. While conducting business in the locale, my wife decided to accompany me for an evening meal. We ordered two distinct steak entrees, two beverages priced at $3.49 each, and two unlimited trip salad bar add-ons at $8.99 each, amounting to a total exceeding $80. This expenditure surpassed my initial budget, yet I was prepared to accept it if the ambiance and cuisine proved exceptional. My wife selected the Steak & Lobster dish priced at $27.99, while I opted for the Classic Trio at $21.99. Disappointment ensued as the 6oz steak portion appeared notably diminutive, and the lobster tail contained scant meat. Likewise, my dish featured a similarly modest steak serving, and the Malibu Chicken turned out to be a simple chicken patty topped with folded ham and Swiss cheese. It is worth noting that the promotional materials depict a substantially larger steak portion and a breaded chicken breast for the Malibu Chicken, which starkly contrasts with the actual offerings. Upon voicing my concerns regarding the disparity between the portion sizes and the advertised images, I was informed that the depicted photos are steaks that were upgraded to the 12oz option priced at $10.99 more. As a result of this unsatisfactory experience, we have decided not to patronize this establishment in the future. The exorbitant pricing coupled with the substandard quality of the fare served left us disheartened. While our server exhibited commendable hospitality, it unfortunately could not compensate for the disappointing culinary experience.
