Mastro's Ocean Club

Food was good, except one of our guests had to send back their steak for not being cooked as requested. Our Server was very polite and took care of us but it took a long time to order, get our food and find the server when we needed him. Lastly, I imagined a fine dining experience but what we got was "fine dining, sports bar style". The restaurant website says there is a dress code; no sports caps, sloppy clothes, etc., but lots of guys had sports caps on, flip flops, very casually dressed. It was also so loud like a sports bar. Thankfully our group had a semi private area but if we had sat anywhere else in the restaurant, we would have had to yell at each other to talk. Yes, it was that loud. Not what I was expecting. We were there for 4 hours, that's how long it took to eat dinner between appetizers, dinner and dessert and getting our servers attention. Be prepared to pay a pretty penny when dining here and be prepared for the sportsbar vibe. Oh yeah, I was there celebrating my birthday and they got my name wrong on the personalized menus and cake. I told them I wasn't "Debra" and they laughed it off.

Lovely atmosphere. Great dining experience. Fun people watching. Wait staff in general, each and everyone was out of this world on point. The bone-in filet that was ordered med/med rare came well done, - however it did maintain its tenderness and was enjoyed. Creamed spinach was tasty & the butter cake as you've probably read was unbelievable. One of the best desserts we have had tried recently. Caitlin & her team took care of us & made our dining experience a 10.

Good but not great meal. Great service by the team. My steak was slightly undercooked, our server also had a twelve top next to us so we were ghosted for extended periods of time. Caesar was uninspired and I usually enjoy it on a chilled plate, not here tonight. Please understand, this was a darn good meal, just some small quirks.

Haven't been here in a while, but we'll be back much sooner. Great food, service and atmosphere. I thought the live music was a great addition. Back again... This time for AZ Food Week. They really had a fabulous menu to choose from. We all had top notch martinis! Great service, friendly and helpful. (We did have to ask for the special menus though) The bar high-top tables are a bit small for four people to eat at, but we managed.

For the entree it only included the meat so I got filet mignon it was delicious. For the sides we got mash potatoes and creamed corn. Everything was good for the main course. This restaurant is impressive. Ambiance is beautiful, service is top tier, and the food quality and selection was perfect. Shrimp cocktail was best I've ever had! The 16oz NY was cooked perfect. My wife had the sea bass and it was incredible. The bread is fresh and tasty. The drink menu is also impressive. Very good selection for everyone. This is one of the best steak and seafood places you'll find! Don't miss out. Duke was our server and he was extremely good and attentive.

Outstanding service from Jesse. The scallops and crab legs were delicious and prepared perfectly. Love the fresh air and open windows as well as the live music. Finished our meal with the famous butter cake, and it was every bit as good as we remembered. Great spot for a special date night!

Mastro’s Ocean Club is always an amazing place for dinner and a great vibe. Love how there is always music playing in the bar area. The food is always amazing and service is always tremendous. From the time you enter the establishment, you will feel warmed and welcome. All of the breads are so delicious and none of them disappoint. The steaks are always fresh and taste amazing! You can not go wrong with any appetizer or side you order. Everything I’ve ever tried here has been so good! I will say the Mac n cheese is my favorite side! The butter cake desert is a must. The skinny Diablo cocktail is also strong but tasty! Great place to go with a group of friends or for a hot date. You will not be disappointed!
