My sons and I picked the Phoenician steakhouse because when I’m in town, I always take my boys to a steakhouse. We arrived a few minutes early and we set a seat within five minutes.. Jeffrey our waiter and Chris, his assistant or excellent throughout the evening. there was a delay with getting our food because of a large party which was fine. Jeffrey explained it to us now the good part my one Son and myself ordered the 24 ounce porterhouse cooked medium. It was absolutely fantastic tender juicy cooked perfectly we had cream spinach, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese, which were all fantastic. The mac & cheese came out super hot and the taste was perfect. My son wanted calamari as an appetizer which I thought was OK. The cocktail shrimp were good not great but good. It’s the main course at the Phoenician that it’s fantastic. I have to tell you the food was . The sites at the Phoenician were very reasonable. I believe the queen span was $12 as was the mac & cheese and potatoes. That’s a bargain no desert for us just a decaf cappuccino, which was very good. the ambience is nice with seats pretty far apart from other people it’s not that loud in the restaurant, a wonderful view of Scottsdale from the windows. (btw in my opinion the steak was better with no sauces but you can ask for a sample of them to try)

Service was top notch! We went for my friends birthday and he had wanted to try it for the longest time. Bread was really good but not enough. Cheese fritters were ok not great. The steaks we had, oscar style filets, were very good, and we had a spectacular view. Definitely the whole experience was worth it!

Pro’s : The venue has an amazing view which is hard to top. The house made ginger ale was refreshing. The lobster shells and cheese had a great portion of lobster, mashed potatoes were super buttery and tasty. Cons : never felt wow’d or an experience that I was waiting to share with our friends and family. The Sea Sun Pinot tasted like the bottle had been left open all day. Steak was tender but not flavorful as one would expect from a high dollar steak house. One of our sides was not brought out nor was our bread. Cost to value / satisfaction factors was very low. We shared a bone in ribeye and we still paid over $300 for two people. Would stick with our go to Mastro’s in the future.

Amazing all around! The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation on the food was delightful for your eyes. Cocktails were well balanced and amazing flavors, they came out as canvases every time (they were garnished with beautiful adornments every time)! The staff were friendly and attentive to details, they sliced your steak at table side! Worth every penny and more!

J&G offers good vibes every time the servers explain your meal to you they are very friendly. You have to experience the service they provide the beautiful views and amazing food. Perfect for date night or celebration. I bought my friends and family from out of town and they were extremely satisfied with everything. Thank you

WOW!! I can easily say this was hands down the best fine dining experience my partner and I have ever experienced in our six years together!! We were immediately greeted with smiles and they congratulated us on our anniversary. They even made us a little card and just made us feel like rock stars the whole time. We had a beautiful table right next to the window with a to die for sunset view. Our wait staff was phenomenal, very funny and charming and helpful with suggestions. I ordered the passionfruit peach spritz and I would definitely recommend that if you’re looking for a tropical and refreshing drink. THE FOOD, man, the food was just fantastic. I joked with my boyfriend that I wish I had another stomach because everything tasted so amazing. We ordered the truffle fries and the shrimp cocktail for apps. They were VERY generous with the portion of fries, it was a large bowl and they were covered in a delicious amount of shaved truffle. 10/10 recommend! The shrimp were also very large and delicious, loved the cocktail and miso dipping sauce for them!! 9/10 for sure!! For my entree I got the salmon with mashed potatoes and it was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. My partner got the steak and the sauces that came with it were also out of this world. The complimentary bread was nice and airy! At the end of the night one of the managers even offered us outside and took some photos of us, it was all so sweet. Just hands down the most memorable and lovely dinner I’ve ever had, and I would recommend this phenomenal establishment to anyone!!!
