What kind of wicked magic did they put in that bread and garlic sauce?? This place is a staple in Arizona. If you haven’t been here, it needs to be on your bucket list. Service, Food and atmosphere are unique and ooozing character but not sacrificing any class or quality. Prices may appear high initially, but when you consider there are no need for sides and portions are generous, it’s a good value. It’s a little hard to get here from Scottsdale, but worth the trip. Keep doing what your doing Durant’s. It’s perfect.

This is an amazing classic old school steakhouse. Everything on the menu was amazing! Our entire group was in heaven. The atmosphere was lovely and old. One could imagine the stories and memories made here through the years. I forgot to take pics of all of the food, but this was my personal favorite- the strawberry shortcake. Don’t leave without trying it! 🍓

Took my girlfriend here for a nice 1 year dinner. Service was flawless, atmosphere was great. We started with the Calamari, which was great, and a couple of drinks. She had the lemon drop martini, I had the Whistle Pig Old Fashioned. He then brought out the amazing bread which we enjoyed. The steaks came out cooked perfectly, bone in ribeye for her, t-bone for me. Highly recommended for a nice night out.

We’re always looking for restaurants that take Christmas decorating seriously. Durant’s is one of the best we’ve found in Phoenix/Scottsdale. It’s also the best throw-back steakhouse we’ve found, having opened in 1950. Its clubby atmosphere, dim lighting, and cheerful buzz are perfect for a romantic evening or a fun group dinner. One of the things I love about this place is that the entrance is in the back of the building, where the ample parking lot is, and guests actually walk through the kitchen to get to the host and the dining rooms and bar. What a great way for the restaurant to distinguish itself and expose the guests to the magic and energy of the busy kitchen. Many of the tables in the dining rooms are booths, both large and small. The dining room flows into the long bar, where all of the tables are tufted leather booths. We have not yet dined at the bar, but look forward to enjoying its retro feel. I don’t usually mention restaurant prices. I’ll just say they aren’t for the faint of heart. But that doesn’t deter Durant’s popularity. It’s busy every time we go there, and you can see they are employing a small army of people to make the food and the service perfect, as it is. But many of the wine bottles are very reasonably priced. We usually order the 16oz. prime rib, which comes with a salad and starch. We add a salad and a bottle of wine. Everyone gets the great house garlic bread. Together, this is plenty of food for us. We’ll be back of course. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

What a great date night. We celebrated our anniversary here and it was like stepping into a 1950's supper club. The drinks were classic and delicious, though they took quite a while to get delivered. The Cesar salad was the way to go and we got the porterhouse cut to share with the mashed potatoes. The cheesecake was delicious--a beautiful tang to it.

My husband and I have been to durants 10 times in the last 8 months… it’s absolutely amazing. Their service is out of this world. Everyone that works at Durant’s is wonderful. The food is always a 10/10. The prime rib with the creamy horseradish sauce is the way to go. Best martinis in Phoenix! There isn’t a kind they cant make…The entire experience is so special and it’s a great place to go to celebrate or have a romantic date night.

What can I say? You're not in business for 70 years unless you're on top of the game. Durant's delivers! Once you walk in through the back the experience begins. Next you're in a classic retro old school restaurant. The service and ambulance matches the decor: elegant and exceptional. A must go. The food!?!? Go! Experience it for yourself. I cannot add anything to enhance the quality of the steaks coming out from that kitchen.
