Staff were all awesome. Very friendly and attentive. I got the ribeye, it was perfectly cooked and the flavor was top notch. Onion rings were good and the homemade ranch was some of the best I've had. Was worried about wait times due to some other reviews but we walked in and got seated immediately. This was a Thursday night.

Had been wanting to try this place after reading the glowing reviews, and it certainly did not disappoint! The steak was excellent and the onion rings were incredible. Of course, the Nicodemus was a real highlight also. That being said, it's necessary to get there as early as possible since there aren't many tables and it fills up quickly! The website says it opens at 5:00, but we got there before 4:30 and several customers had already been seated. By 5:00, it was completely full and people were standing outside and waiting in their cars. Despite that, it's definitely worth it!

It's an acquired taste but a great one! I enjoyed it here. The food was good and the service was great. It was super busy and the staff was still super attentive. If we lived in this area (we were just passing by) we would definitely be here more often.

***I am editing my review due to the disgusting racist behavior of the owners husband. I have yet to see a response from the owner herself, so I consider that silent agreement. The husband, after several days of people protesting, finally made what I consider a very insincere statement & febil attempt at an apology several days later. I really do miss going there because of the employees, most of whom have been there for YEARS. The actions of the owner(s) have always been less than professional. Blocking the restroom entrance because that is where you and your friends lean on counters and drink to extreme excess is never a good look!*** I love Nick's! They take care of you like family!

This place is a fun experience. We got there at 5:30p and we waited 45 min for a table for two. They brought us whatever drink we wanted while we waited outside the building. It is a small place, so there were a lot of tables inside that were very close together and no room to wait inside. I had the Nick’s burger and added cheese with onion rings. I am really picky about my burgers and ate every bite. The onion rings were a good texture but I did not enjoy the flavor of the batter as much. We also ordered chicken gizzards, but they came out after we were almost finished with our meal. I only tried one, and I did not like the texture of them. I believe they are chewy by nature anyway. However, my husband enjoyed eating them all up. They did not charge us for the gizzards because they came out so late, so we only paid $28 for our two burgers. The wait staff was very nice and I am looking forward to visiting again.

This place is over rated. Subpar food, service and atmosphere. One would think the place would have improved after their racial incident that went virial about a year ago, but nope. Spend your money elsewhere.

Absolutely amazing place. The atmosphere is fantastic. I was recommended to go here by a local and i dare say that filet was the best steak i have had in a long time. Perfection. Perfectly cooked and rested which some place don't do for some reason. The fries were disceptively good. Soft interior and crispy exterior. Even the free biscuits and salad were amazing. I ordered enough to take leftovers back to the hotel and i unashamedly gobbled it all but. I hope i come through here again to have another great experience!

Loved this place. Kinda crowded and steak wasn't the highest quality but flavor was awesome. The staff is top notch. Great place for an affordable steak dinner.
