First time here. Was getting groceries at the Publix’s decided to stop in to get some sushi and relax before shopping. This place is a nice little gem. The food was amazing. The service was great. The decor and atmosphere was perfect. Definitely will be back.

What's not to love about great sushi and Hibachi all in the same place. We always get the best customer service and try and sit at our usual table when it's open. I usually order a roll of sushi and actually order the kids' shrimp, which is the perfect amount of food for me, since I can't decide between the two.

Update: 5-6-23 Sushi Time!!!! My wife and I decided to stop by for take out. The staff is super friendly and you always feel so welcomed. I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried their sushi. Let me start out by saying that I was not a sushi person (I am now!). I got the Rice Mine Road Roll and now I am a believer!!!! This is a special roll that was prepared by Wayan. Make sure you ask for this roll! My mouth is salivating as I type this🤤😆 Can’t wait to stop by and get this again! The Hibachi Steak is on point as well! My wife got the Hibachi Shrimp and as always, she was thoroughly pleased. Fujiyama does not disappoint and I think that it is safe to say, this is the best Japanese Steak and Seafood House that Tuscaloosa has to offer. Do yourself a favor and get the RICEMINE ROAD ROLL 🍱😋 I love the rice and the veggies. So delicious!!! The pot stickers were amazing and I really enjoyed the clear soup. Can’t wait to go back. The owner Wayan took time to come to our table to get our input on the menu. Nice touch!!!

Really good! Madison, our server, was very attentive and kind. Our water was never left unfilled. The food, you may ask? BUSSING. I got thai ramen and it made my heart happy. Thanks guys.

Completely disorganized. Do not order on the phone or online. They will not prepare orders in sequence. Dine in guests will be served before any other orders are fulfilled. An order that was promised by 6pm was not “ready” until after 7pm. That was after multiple phone calls and trips into the restaurant. Order was wrong on top of being over an hour late.

We love this small, local Japanese/Thai restaurant! The service and food is always wonderful, especially the Rice Mine roll, masaman curry and coconut soup. Of course, you can never go wrong with hibachi! Tara is typically our server and the attention that he gives our rowdy children makes all of our experience that much better. We got to meet one of the chefs, Wayan, who was super kind. It may not seem like much compared to the fancier cook in front of you places, but it’s a wonderful addition to the north river area that we frequent often! I am super picky about Thai food and was shocked at how good my favorite dishes are here.

Really good food at reasonable prices. Have had the Chicken Pad Thai and the Hibachi Chicken. Both were good portions and the Hibacachi was a full meal (see pic).

This is one of two places in Tuscaloosa that has pad see ewe and they get the flavour right. They have a wide array of Asian cuisine even though they focus on Japanese hibachi. Get the basil rolls.
