Dined here on NYE as a party of 5. Excellent food and service. Dani was our server and her timing was impeccable. Definitely try the fried alligator appetizer as you will not be disappointed! Filets were cooked to perfection and crab cakes were full of crab with a light crispy coating. Lobster was tender and buttery. The chocolate martinis were delectable. You just can’t go wrong here.

I ordered the steak Diane and it was delicious. I was a little disappointed in the crab claws but the fried ones were better. I’d definitely go back here

This is one of our go-to spots whenever we visit friends in Huntsville, and it never disappoints. The food is always amazing! My favorite this time were the alligator bites—so tender, with perfectly seasoned breading. Although the oysters had more of a lake taste than I prefer, it didn’t spoil the meal, especially since we’re in Alabama and not on the coast. The escargot was soft and buttery, and the shrimp, crab, and corn soup was packed with flavor. We’ve visited several times, and the quality is consistently great. Highly recommend!

Our server Liz was great! The food was good. The steak was nice and tender, but I do not recommend the blue cheese crumble on your steak if you had it at Ruth Chris and you are expecting the same thing. It is not the same. The firecracker shrimp were amazing! We found ourselves talking about them the next day. The red velvet cake was okay, but I would not order it again. I would return and try a different entrée, just to see how something else is on the menu (I was considering the Sea Bass). It is a good place for date night.

The best steak I've had in the area. It was very tender, juicy and actually seasoned. Kinda pricey but worth it. Food was very good

"MAGNIFICENT!" Early Friday evening, August 16, 2024, I dined at Tom Brown's Restaurant in Madison, Alabama. This was my very first visit to Tom Brown's, and I had heard a lot of great things about this establishment, so I was anxious to see if they would live up to their reputation. Well, they CERTAINLY DID! Upon entering this upscale establishment, the initial or immediate impression is "SOPHISTICATION!" Herein, we find a very stylish decor with, perhaps, a very romantic and somewhat Parisian atmosphere and ambiance. Mason was our server, and he did an awesome job! And, as this was my very first visit here, I had several questions regarding some of the menu options, and he made some great suggestions. As appetizers, we ordered: ● The Mean Green Egg Rolls, and ● The Fried Alligator. Both of these were excellent. So, on this inaugural visit, motivated by my discussion with Mason, our server, as my main course, I chose to order: ●   The Bison Filet Mason made an absolutely spot-on recommendation on this item. I mean, for me, that was a total "HOME RUN" of a suggestion for my taste preference. The Bison that I ordered was perfectly marinated, wonderfully seasoned, and absolutely "cooked to PERFECTION." As a result, it was extremely/EXTRAORDINARILY "MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH" tender! As sides, we also ordered a house salad and Brussel sprouts, which were both excellent. What a tremendous introduction to this fine establishment. So, compliments to the "clearly  professional" chef(s), the prep staff, the maître d, the owners and management, and again, to Mason, our server, for such an "EXTRAORDINARY" and "MAGNIFICENT" dining experience at Tom Brown's Restaurant, in Madison, Alabama. BRAVO! 👏 👏 Bellisimo! 👍 👍 G. Curtis Saturday, August 17, 2024

The grilled vegetables & chicken are always my favorite! Full of flavor and a hearty meal for the price. The mocktails are also AMAZING!

Not happy at all with the restaurant or the manager. My daughter came in from deployment with the Navy and we wanted to take her out for a nice dinner before she leaves for another deployment so we chose this restaurant. So let me first say nice atmosphere and the waitress was amazing. However, it started off great. We ordered drinks and appetizers which came within 15 min. However, after that it turns south. We waited over and hour and 15 min since the appetizers for our meal which never showed up. The manager was aware of this, according to our waitress, she never came to the table to try and smooth things over made the waitress come and do it 2 or 3 times. Well, finally, I had enough and said bring me a bill for what was on the table which was like 88 and some change. The manager then comes to show her face and says basically nothing and states they have new chefs in the kitchen, which I understand but it took you over an hour and 15 minutes to come to my table and explain this after you sent the waitress several times. I have been in the restaurant industry for several years and this would have never been tolerated. So, needless to say I paid the bill and even tipped the waitress well and explained to her that it was not her fault; all she kept doing was apologizing. This was not her fault by any means, and we explained this to her. Needless to say, we will not be back. Shame on management for a missed opportunity to make this right. Also, for the manager to come out and then tell us that our food is in waiting, yeah, obviously. Thanks for nothing!!! The lady who was our waitress should be in your position as she handled the situation so much better than the so-called manager. Huge disappointment.
