Food was Great service was excellent. On visit I had The smoked brisket sandwich. The brisket was good. If I ordered again I would do without the sauce or on the side. The sauce over powered the meat. The stuffed pig burger was good as well. It was a good balance of beef and pulled pork. As a appetizer I had the Texas Twinkies that are stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon and stuffed with cream cheese and brisket. These by themselves would be excellent. Once again the sauce was to much. In the menu it doesn't say there sauce but they are sauced. Some sauce I personally can deal with but it was a little too much for me. Overall it was still an excellent dish that I would order again only without sauce. This was my first visit but I will definitely be back to try more items.

Delicious! All of it was so good. The burger patties are crispy. The brisket was juicy. The sauces were so flavorful! The fries were crisp on the outside. Service was great and even though the place was packed, the food came out quick.

Salt Smokehouse is definitely in my top 3! There was literally nothing to complain about. My husband and I had the Texas twinkies as an appetizer and let me just say 10/10! I order the smoked chicken sandwich (motherclucker) with the hot honey Brussels sprouts 10/10! My husband had our wonderful waitress, Sarah, to order for him as a surprise. I’m not sure what the name was on the menu but it was very good 10/10! Sarah was an exceptional waitress! The environment was very nice, clean, and good natural light. One of my favorite parts is the scripture on the receipt!! We are definitely going to become regulars!

The food at Salt Smokehouse is delicious. Let's get that out of the way first because the Yuzu Brussel Sprouts are honestly a gift to mankind. They are heavenly. The burger was also very good. I would say easily a 4/5 burger (the brussel sprouts really were the star of the show). The fries are also cooked in beef tallow which is delicious. The service was also good once it finally arrived. There was a 35 minute wait (even though there were empty unreserved tables) and we were asked to sit at the bar. Totally fine. The bar seems just to be a waiting area with no actual function, as nobody came to ask us if we wanted to order a drink or anything at all until our table was ready. The atmosphere and design of the place I would say really lets down the quality of the food. There were dead flowers in vases, some of the decorations had stains on them and the bottom of the window was shrink wrapped for some reason. Very clearly a warehouse that has been refurbished into multiple business spaces. Overall though, for the food, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

The name of the restaurant, Salt Smokehouse, can be deceiving. Makes you think it's a barbecue place. It's so much more than that! The server Sarah knew everything about the menu. She was sweet and absolutely helped us decide what kind of food we wanted. The bulgogi brisket sandwich and salmon tacos were outstanding! We will definitely be back!

Seriously every bite was perfect. I ordered the pork chop which was juicy and tender. The sauce it came with was spicy and not too sweet. The cucumber mint salad was very spicy but also really clean tasting. The fries were crispy on outside and fluffy on inside. Even the pickles from my friends burger were delicious. My friends said their salads, one with ginger chicken and the other with salmon, were amazing. Oh and the waygu truffle French fries as an appetizer was perfect. It was like when you find a cool place in another city and say I wish we had this place back home. Plus it wasn’t crazy expensive!!!

One of the best places to eat in Huntsville. This place has heart, the owners are so kind and care about having good quality food with the best ingredients. Chef Rene is the best! Next time you’re there get the Brussels sprouts and ask about the tacos of the day.
