About The Grille - steak house in Huntsville, Alabama

Customer Review Summary

The Grille is a convenient airport bar with excellent food, including a standout ribeye and well-prepared salmon salad. Service quality is inconsistent; while some guests praise attentive staff like Glenn, others report inattentive service and issues with basic items like silverware. Despite some negative experiences with service, many diners enjoyed well-seasoned entrees and the relaxed atmosphere. The menu is small but offers tasty options like crispy tater tots and a decent pecan pie. Overall, it’s well-rated for a quick meal in the airport, making it a better choice than dining options after security.

Great little bar. Ribeye with mashed potatoes was excellent. Shout out to Glenn for taking care of us. Cheap for airport food.

Was visiting for business and tried this restaurant since it was connected to my hotel/airport. It was of great convenience while waiting for my flight. The first night I went I ordered a salmon chaser, added bacon, and onions. It was the best salad I have tasted in a LONG TIME! The next day I ordered the steak and it was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. My sides were very starchy with Mac and mashed potatoes but it was worth the calories!

Ate dinner here 12/26/2024. The server was not good. He was the only one there serving tables and tending bar, but the restaurant was SLOW. He took a bit to greet and seat us, but that was ok. He didn’t bring plates, silverware, or napkins with the appetizer. He never refilled our drinks. He didn’t explain there would be an up charge with our meals, and got an attitude when asked for clarification - not disputing the amount… just clarification. I was nice and still tipped 15% despite the bad service. The appetizer was ok. A little unseasoned, but it was hot and came out quickly. The entrees were good. Well seasoned and hot.

Not bad for where it is, but could be better. The service was great and the staff was friendly. The tater tots in the totchos were crispy and for the most part the food was good. To add something more to that dish, some pulled pork would go a long way. It is the south after all. The bourbon pecan pie was a little on the light side for the price and there wasn't much bourbon flavor to it. But for a normal pecan pie it was decent but tasted more like it came from Sara Lee than from scratch.

Glean was an amazing waiter/bartender! Major props to him and his service! We enjoyed their version of Steak frites and chicken tacos. Best food you can find in HSV 😉.

Nice place in the airport that is much better than after security. Small menu, but pretty fast and friendly

Relaxing, comfy restaurant with delicious food and spectacular service! After a day of travel, eating dinner at The Grille (open until 10, kitchen until 9) was the highlight of our day!

This was a warm welcome to an early arrival. Staff was extremely friendly. Had biscuits and gravy and was not disappointed one bit. Sat for about 2 hours waiting on other travel issues and the staff told me to take all the time I needed and kept the coffee flowing! Quite a few breakfast options and if I am ever back in Huntsville again I will make sure to go before I leave the airport.
