The food was decent. I’ve been to one other Korean BBQ place beside this one. The meat selection was good, but the pork belly was very disappointing = do not get. After watching so many K-dramas, I was craving some pork belly, but was very disappointed. Anyways, the steaks were all good - tender and delish! We had fun cooking our food, I mostly ate them. It was a very fun experience!

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. This was our first time eating here and we are already making plans to come back. The atmosphere was phenomenal. With the large TVs, decor, music, and robot that delivers drinks everything was super unique and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The food was superb. Menu items are all you can eat and you can choose from hot pot, Korean bbq, or both. Finally, the service was top notch. Our waitress Michelle provided the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. She stopped by multiple times to ensure our drinks were filled and to see if we wanted additional food items. We were all new and she even took the time to show us how to cook our food. She was charming, patient, funny, and kind. We were celebrating two birthdays and she ensured both family members felt special. I can’t wait to return here!

While service was great and the food in general tasted pretty good, it did not hit the same as other KBBQ AYCE restaurants we’ve been to. All the food tasted very Americanized. Some of the beef options were just your basic filet or ribeye steak. While it wasn’t bad, they didn’t have the level of flavor we expected. The ribeye also came out completely uncut, and the scissors we were given unfortunately sucked for cutting it. Our favorite part of the meal were unironically the french fries, which were honestly amazing. All of the meat left a bit to be desired, however while it didn’t taste bad, it just didn’t taste as good as we were expecting. We were on track for giving this place a 4/5, but in our last round of meat, the cooking plate started to fall apart. Flakes of iron were left all over our food which was not appetizing to say the least. This almost made us not want to finish our meal. As a result, we dropped a star. We still think it is worth trying for an introduction to KBBQ, but don’t let this set your expectations for other KBBQ restaurants. The dinner set was overly priced for the quality of the meats. They only serve the lunch sets on Monday to Friday. Weekends are dinner only.

A "STRATOSPHERICALLY" PLESANT SURPRISE! Tonight (Thursday, June 6, 2024) I had dinner at Stone Age Korean BBQ -- a restaurant here in Huntsville, Alabama. (It is located in a development that is fairly close to -- but south of -- the Memorial Parkway and Governor's Drive intersection.) This was actually my very first time dining at a Korean restaurant. And, WOW! What a great dining experience. There were so many different dishes to try -- and so many unique twists on familiar dishes -- that I can't go into them all right now. But, almost everything I sampled was really, REALLY good. And, I my meal was an "All-You-Can-Eat" in two hours deal. As far as meat dishes, I tried both beef and pork this first visit. I'm CRAZY about the BEEF BULGOGI! 😋 If you haven't already been there, definitely do give it a try. DELICIOUS! Many thanks and compliments to the ENTIRE team at Stone Age Korean BBQ on South Parkway, in Huntsville, Alabama. BRAVO! 👍 👍 G. Curtis Thursday, June 6, 2024 (Edited: Friday, June 7, 2024)

I’ve been holding off writing a review until I had a really good experience here. This is my fourth visit and the first time I’ve really enjoyed it. Amy Claire (AC) was our server and she made all the difference! She took the time to chat with us and brought us sauces more like we were looking for. Let’s be real, we can all cook meat at home, we come out for the sauces and condiments! So, we got gochujang, smoky red powder, smoky brown powder, and a sauce we are now naming “AC Sauce” in honor of the server who created it. It is composed of stuff from the hot pot bar and combines beautifully. Here’s the recipe: Raw garlic, sesame oil, green onion, cilantro, “chili paste”, sriracha, and smoky brown powder. If AC is working, ask for her to wait on you. If she’s not working, still ask for AC Sauce. It’s awesome!

I got the beef bulgogi and it was amazing, juicy and flavorful the sweet radish paired great together. The sushi was also high quality.

First time in this restaurant. Good service at the table. You will live a different experience where you prepare your food yourself at the table. You will enjoy it if you like Asian food but if it is your first time I recommend the lemon chicken and the hot pot with a miso soup base. I tried the beef bulgogi and it seemed to have a very strong flavor for my taste. I loved how they served the rice in a very tender container.
