Steak 'n Shake

After a long day and a full meal elsewhere, we decided to stop here for a quick dessert. I ordered an Oreo shake, but instead of the creamy, Oreo-filled treat I expected, I was handed what was essentially a vanilla shake with a light dusting of Oreo crumbs. The taste was pretty much pure vanilla, with only the faintest hint of Oreo. Hoping they’d make it right, I went inside to politely ask for a fix, but the staff seemed visibly annoyed by my request. Without causing a fuss, I decided to just take the shake and go, though I couldn’t help but feel disappointed—not only by the shake itself but by how they handled a simple request for correction. Adding to the frustration, I noticed they had recently mopped the floors but hadn’t put up a wet floor sign. I nearly slipped on my way out, which just added another negative to the experience. This is not how customers should be treated, and it’s not the standard of quality I’d expect for even a quick dessert stop. I’m not sure if this is their usual level of service or just an off day, but it left a poor impression. Right now, I wouldn’t recommend this place due to the lack of customer care, questionable food quality, and disregard for safety.

Steak & Shake has never been better. The burger was hot, fresh, delicious, correct to order. And the Fries! These are what fries used to taste like. They were perfection. Hot, crisp, and the best flavor. I forgot how good fries cooked in beef tallow are. Amazing! Fast and friendly service. One of the very best burger joints in existence.

The patties were salty, fries are too thin, but it seems more of a signature style for them. There was no contact with the employees other than having the tray of food placed on the counter for you. The bun broke off quickly & so it made the burger messy to eat. The bacon was paper thin and didn't have much flavor. I did not order a shake but they looked delicious from afar.

This place is my most favorite burger joint anywhere. The cotton candy shake is to die for. And every burger so far hasn't disappointed. The customer service here has always been friendly and respectful. Love you all so much. Thank you for always being consistant with your freshness and quality. Can't wait til next visit.... yum yummy 😋

Tasty food and great service. You order at a kiosk, then get your food when your number is called. You have to scan a qr code to get a drink, which is a little odd but not a huge deal. The garlic burger was delicious and the fries were great too.

First time I've been in since COVID. It's weird now because you order your own food and pick it up at the counter. Counter lady was super nice and food was good. Nutella shake was delicious.

The lady we spoke with at the drive through was so nice. I burger was pretty good. I didn't realize there were onions, so that's on me. Love the blackberry chocolate chip shake. I got a small, the whipped cream takes up a lot of space.
