My wife and I recently decided to break out of our culinary rut and try something new, so we ventured over to Salt Factory Pub in Mid-City Huntsville. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the unique atmosphere— a cool blend of pub vibes, industrial design, and a touch of 1960s New York restaurant charm. It’s the kind of place that feels welcoming and classy at the same time. We opted to eat at the bar, and I’m so glad we did. The tap selection is extensive, with a great variety of craft beers, including plenty of IPAs, which is always our go-to. I couldn’t resist checking out their impressive bourbon menu as well, though I held off on ordering this time. The bartender, who was super knowledgeable about both the spirits and the food menu, made it clear this place takes pride in what it serves. For appetizers, we went with the Pork Tacos. These were a fantastic start— bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. They really set the tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, we went all-in on the classic Fish and Chips (full size). Let me tell you, this is by far the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The fish was beautifully meaty and flaky, and the batter was light and crisp— you could tell it was made from scratch, which made all the difference. The portion was generous, and it was definitely enough for both of us to enjoy. Overall, Salt Factory Pub has earned a spot in my regular rotation of places to dine. The atmosphere is laid-back but refined, the food is top-notch, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Great space and delicious food! The shepherd's pie was the best I have ever had with lamb and fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. We also tried the Oysters Rockefeller which was good, but we've had better elsewhere. The restaurant was gorgeous and the bathroom clean. We went on Veterans Day and they had the most meaningful dinner table set for the Missing Soldier. We'll definitely be back!

We got a bunch of appetizers and they were all so so delicious. The crispy rice spicy salmon and butternut squash ravioli were our favorites. We also got the egg roles and pork tacos. Honestly everything we had was perfect. Sammy our server was phenomenal. We were never waiting too long for anything and she helped us decide what to get. We were so happy with everything. We will be back often!!

This was my 1st time here and I'm already planning my next visit. The food and drinks selection was amazing and our server Bella made some great suggestions! We had the Louisiana egg rolls and Chargrilled oysters as appetizers which were delicious! Our younger kids had the the chicken strips and fries; they both ate most of their platters. I had the blood orange glazed salmon and my boyfriend got the Sheppards pie. Every dish was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We had a few drinks and the bartender did an amazing job! Overall I had an amazing experience and can not wait to go back. The vibes were immaculate and Bella was such an amazing server, thanks again!

Walking in, we weren't greeted right away, but the atmosphere and decor had me right off. They had live music, with acoustic guitar and wonderful singer. We had to stand and wait to be seated for 15 mins since there was no waiting area. Service was pretty good, too. Nice friendly staff, but you could definitely tell something was off with a few of the workers. For goodness sake, a young lady who worked there ran past us crying and seemed very upset. It was just a bit unusual. Anyway, drinks were fantastic. My wife had the lemon 🍋 drop, and I had a glass of cabernet, lovely. Food, well I had the salmon in blood orange sauce, and fushe cooked very good, but flavor wasn't great. Very bland and the blood orange sauce was a bit ketchup'y 😳. I would like to go back maybe during lunch and try the mahimahi though.

This was our second visit. I ordered the blackened Mahi. I knew it wasn’t right when it came out. It was light brown not blackened and had no spice, only salt. The photo posted is from another reviewer who ordered the same dish about one month ago. My fish looked nothing like this. I don’t know how the kitchen could fail to season a blackened dish. I mentioned it to our waitress and the manager; the manager’s response was a vague “ I’ll let the chef know”. Also my wife’s burger order got messed up and came out after I was nearly finished eating. I wouldn’t expect these type of errors after being open this long. I’m not sure we’ll return.

Ethan was fantastic. Knew the menu. It was our 21st anniversary. We weren’t sure we would be able to celebrate it on the 27th. So glad we went . The owner or manager came out to bring our food and introduce himself. Loved the vibe here. We are from New Orleans area. Hard to find places we like to go back to. Definitely will stop by again. Thank you for a perfect anniversary memory.

Can't believe i haven't heard enough people singing praises for this spot. They have it all. Variety of food and drink, served in generous portions, it's all absolutely fantastic quality, and set in a really comfortably classy atmosphere. Not the cheapest spot but not the most expensive either- well worth it. Service is cool and knowledgeable, won't chat your ear off but will keep ya taken care of, thanks Josh. If you're craving mussels in town - i think this is the spot. Even better than the local seafood boil spots in my opinion.
