Asparagus was noted to be excellent, with thick stalks and a great flavor. The atmosphere is lively and family-friendly, making it a popular spot for brunch and sporting events, particularly praised for the excellent service and food quality, including the NY Strip steak and blackened salmon. 3.5 but rounding up to 4. Got the French Onion Soup, Hot pretzel with beer cheese dip, and asparagus for delivery Hot pretzel with beer cheese dip--Super generous with the cheese dip! Love that. It was kind of garlicky or something? But I love the portion of cheese. Two pretzel sticks loose in a container are naturally going to cool quickly. Maybe wrap them together in a thick napkin or foil and tuck them into a tight baggie to keep them warm. French Onion Soup--Not a fan. The layer of cheese on top was way too thick, felt like it was 50% cheese topping and I don't like that they put the baguette slices in it. Just soaks up the soup and becomes mush. I'd rather have the slices of baguette on the side to dip on my own. The soup was oily, had a film of oil bubbles all over the top. Likely from the massive amount of cheese. Asparagus--Very good. Beautifully thick stalks, great portion, garlicky and a bit spicy. These aren't scrawny stringy asparagus, nice hearty stalks. Probably the only thing I'd get again, but the best deal I've had on asparagus.

Right off the King Street Metro station. Amazing atmosphere, with an outstanding bar and happy hour. Food was sooo good. NY Strip steak, blackened salmon was our go to. Then top it off with amazing service and great desert.

Wanted to go watch football with the family and decided to give Theismanns a try and I was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile. The place was busy which is expected for a Sunday brunch. The food was amazing, drinks and coffee are tasty, the service was excellent and it’s family oriented which is a plus for me. I was disappointed that they ran out of the cinnamon rolls but that’s another reason for me to comeback lol.Overall everything was great, will definitely make it our go to brunch spot!

Great food, service, and classy sports bar/ restaurant vibes. Good portions. I was so hungry, I missed capturing full appetizer photos, but everything was SO good!

We often patron this restaurant for a Sunday lunch and to catch the NFL Game. We meet friends there and enjoy the Sunday crowd. Great manager and waitstaff servicing the bar and surrounding booths. There has also been an occasional sighting from Theismann himself. I cant believe I used to watch him playing on tv as a kid. We have also patroned on a Saturday night for birthday celebrations and have dined in the event rooms in the back when football players come in with their folks. The restrooms are serviced and clean. Great location with outdoor seating across from the subway. Nice walking surrounding the restaurant.

I have been a customer for more than 20 years at this location. During our New Years Day visit, the music was turned up so loudly, we could barely hear ourselves talk. Neighboring tables remarked about the volume as well. We requested that it be turned down and was told that a "higher up" had asked for it to be turned up so it probably wouldn't be turned down. Asked to speak to mgmt. A woman eventually came over and said it could not be turned down since there is only one volume for the entire restaurant. We explained that the response was not accommodating and the high volume of music was disrupting our meal. We were told the music would not be turned down. In addition, the parking allowance is a waste of time. If you are parked for more than 2 hours, like we were, you still pay the full day rate. The restaurant's little stickers do not offer any credit towards parking according to the attendant. We will not be returning.

Fantastic food and friendly staff, we visited while on vacation and we're extremely satisfied! I ordered the dry aged steak which was phenomenal, and we also came back for brunch at the end of our trip where I ordered the chicken and waffles, also a fantastic meal!

Hearing about this restaurant while staying at a hotel next door, I decided to visit. Arriving shortly before closing, I wasn't able to indulge heavily in the beverages. However, there's an adequate alcohol list for any fun occasion. The food suggested by my server Thomas was on Point and quite satisfying, taste and portions. Cheese bread and the crab dip were out of this world. I had the crab cakes, which were perfectly crafted with its crab ratio. The Cole slaw and fries weren't by no means average since it was freshly made when served. Thomas was very pleasant and masters his hospitality ambitions. Hence, service was flawless. The prices were far beneath the average cost for food (quality) of this caliber. If ever I'm visiting Alexandria again. I'm surely stopping by.
