Customer Review Summary

Libertango Steakhouse offers a great dining experience with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. Guests praised the welcoming staff, particularly the enthusiastic service provided by Jonathon and Jessica. The menu features unique flavor combinations, especially in the appetizers and steaks, with standout dishes like the American wagyu flank steak and picanha. Some diners appreciated the upscale experience, perfect for date nights or special occasions. However, several reviews highlighted concerns over high prices and small portion sizes, leading to feelings of dissatisfaction, especially for those who opted for pasta and left hungry. There were mentions of mixed service experiences, with some guests finding service slow and others frustrated with the inability to address issues with their meals. Overall, while many enjoyed the ambiance and food, the pricing and portion sizes may deter some from returning.

Love the food and the atmosphere . Also had a very nice waiting room I managed to snag a photo of without people in it. The hostess had a smile the whole time, our server Jonathon was very excited about the meals and shared his honest opinions and recommendations which was really fun. And second server Jessica had smile on often and kept our drinks filled. Loved the appetizers, the steaks, the sides, and found unique flavors in each. Will definitely return. Add The Argentinian cookie (alfajor) at the end for a nice treat. An upscale restaurant for a nice date night or special evening out. Or if you’re a foodie and just want to try a new place, I’d add this to your list. :)

Overall, great dining experience. We sat near the chef area where they we're using the furnace to cook. Each time they open the door Sparks come flying out which was pretty cool. That was the good part. The not so good part was the price. I realize it's an upscale steakhouse so that's the thing to come for. Not knowing what we were in for upon entering, my wife and I ordered pasta to keep the cost down. Only ordering one soda and two servings of pasta with no appetizers or dessert, the total was over $90. The pasta servings were small enough to fit in my hand, so ended up leaving hungry. It's hard to rave about spending $90 and leaving hungry. I think Libertango could stand to have a few slightly lower cost options that are bigger portions. It doesn't cost much to make pasta. Probably won't be coming back unless I'm really looking to splurge on a nice steak.

What a great experience! There was a special for 4 proteins, 2 sides, and 2 drinks. It was pricey but worth it. I have always wanted to try picanha. I guess I've been watching too many Guga Foods videos on YouTube, lol. I liked that the proteins came with complimentary sauces. We paid a bit extra for the American wagyu flank steak, roasted veggies, and cheesy rice. And I would do it again! Idk what they put into those grilled vegetables, but they were awesome. Perfectly seasoned. No extra salt required. 😉 I really enjoyed the rice as well. It was almost a parmesan flavor, and it was super cheesy! My favorite protein is probably going to be the American wagyu flank, and close second was the picanha. The spicy chorizo was also really good! We also ordered the Panqueque de Dulce de Leche. It's a crepe filled with dulce de leche and a side of vanilla ice cream. It was glorious. This is my first visit to a Latin steakhouse, and it will definitely not be my last. Loved the food and service!

Worth every penny. My wife and I were going to share our meals. I ordered the Thatcher which is an 18 oz steak, and my wife ordered the Lamb Chops. She only let me eat one of the Chops she loved them so much. I took half my steak home. The desert was a work of art. We cried when we started eating it. The service is fun and so good. Great atmosphere. We can't wait to go back.

Really good food with some authentic dishes. Loved trying new things. It was all delicious. I only give 4 stars due to the food. The criticisms I would give are that prices are too high, portions too small, service could be better, atmosphere is fun but not super intimate. Very pricy. We love places like Ruth's Chris and the prices here are just as high. Ruth's portions are much larger. We spent around 240 and bought less items than we do at Ruth's. We had to keep raising our hands to get water, dessert menu and our bill. Not sure if we'll return unless we see new prices.

My husband spent time in Argentina, so when I found this restaurant, I was very excited. The staff, the food, the atmosphere is amazing! The sauces they bring are on point! The chimichurri was by far the best! Brought my husband right back to Argentina. Steak was cooked to perfection, and my salmon was flaky and juicy. If you are in the area, you need to try this place if you love steak. You will not be disappointed.

I was a bit disappointed, this place is quite expensive so my expectations were set high and I was let down. My steak was still mooing even though I ordered it medium rare, my broccoli rice was so over cooked, it seemed as it was microwaved, I was asked how everything was and I said it was good but the rice was overcooked, the owner said I couldn't send it back because they don't do that here as it's family owned, the rice was $6, that made my experience a bit tough because why ask how things are if you're not willing to fix a problem? The potatoes were worth the hype, so so good, I loved how you could eat peacefully without screaming children! the sangria, a virgin cocktail, was amazing. The chimichurri needed more acid and spice. The empanada was really good but tiny. Their pork belly was ok, undercooked for my taste as it's really fatty, and I don't enjoy soft fat in my mouth. Overall, I wish I had chosen a different place to spend my wedding anniversary. When you've traveled around the globe, your palette becomes acostume to different flavors, and this was not authentic Argentinian. I wish them the best. The pear in wine was delish, the alfajores not authentic and you could barely taste the dulce de leche as they decided to bathe them in dark chocolate. Ourbill was $320 for 3 adults and 1 child. The owner doesn't care as they never even came to our table after the rice problem.

This was my first time at Libertango and I was really impressed with the ambiance, food, and overall experience. When you walk into the restaurant you can smell the firewood grill as if you were in the mountains around a bonfire. The dining room has a classy 1920's vibe with comfortable leather chairs, unique decor, and perfectly balanced lighting. The menu, although on the pricier side, has a variety delicious variety of appetizers and entrees. I ordered the flank steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious (and the presentation was on point too). The staff and owners were friendly and accomodating. My only feedback would be that the service was a little slow at first to take our order. Other than that, I highly recommend dining here as a way to celebrate a special occasion or as a casual night out with friends and family.
