Mid day (2ish) on a Wednesday - perfect service, amazing food! 1st time here and our group will definitely be back! Chicken & Waffles is definitely recommended but come hungry as it's a lot to eat for one person! Highlander pie is amazing and again more than enough! The bacon and egg burger with fries also recommended! Our waitress, Tiffany C, was amazing and very attentive. If you are in the area, we definitely recommend!

This was our first time here! We had a great time. The building is cool and has a historic feel to it. I ordered the bacon and egg burger. I was very pleased with my meal. Most places I go and get the egg on the burger they never get the yoke right. This is the first place in a long time that has gotten the egg right! 👏👏👏 Also, the fries were great! The only nit pick was it took a little while to get our food and the place didn't seem to busy so I'm not sure what that was about. However, our waitress was great!

The place was busy that night so the service may be just a little slow. The food oh my goodness they give you lots of food, I definitely left with a doggy bag. The waitress was pleasant in explaining the food to us. In receiving our food everything was delicious lots of food given. But it is pricey.

Excellent patio for the dogs and the humans who like to sit out doors! Very accommodating! Great staff! Food was hot and very tasty! Looks like it’s going to be a little scary, but once you get inside, it’s a great experience! Highly recommend the Fish and especially the chips! Also really enjoyed the flavors of the Chicken and Waffles!

Great place for beer and food, cozy bar seating area with super attentive bartenders and servers. They carry local brews as well, so lots of great Texas options. The food is AWESOME, brussel sprouts were so good we finished them before we could even take a bite. Chicken fried chicken and burger were both excellent and the fries are crazy tasty and perfectly crisp. Our waiter found out we were new transplants to TX and wrote us a welcome message on our receipt and gave us recommendations for return and for exploring the area. Will definitely be back, the highland cow pictures everywhere are adorable! Update: came back with a large group, they were super accommodating for all of us and made sure we all had a great time and enough beer!

Food & atmosphere were great! I do wish our server was a little more informative about a few things we ordered but it wasn’t anything that changed our experience. Their chicken & waffles is anything but basic. The orange whiskey maple syrup that is served with is delicious & ties it together. If you’re a cheese stick lover, get the mozzarella logs!

First visit back since the remodel. Very disappointed. The food seems to be the same but now there is no table service and they serve your food in either a box or plastic dish. It makes no sense, serving big portion of thick chicken with tiny plastic forks and knives. The staff seemed almost embarrassed to tell us we had to seat ourselves and get our own drinks and paper napkins on our way. Prices are still the same, but it's way too high for having to eat with plastic.

The food is cooked to order so it will take longer to get to your meal. If you want fast food go to McDonald's. If you want the best food you'll eat away from your mom's home cooking be patient, it is well worth it!
