Customer Review Summary
Samurai of Tokyo is widely regarded as one of the best hibachi and sushi restaurants in Texas. Diners praise the delicious food, especially the hibachi chicken and various sushi rolls, with popular options including the Rainbow Roll and Crab Crunch. The dining experience is enhanced by entertaining chefs who cook at the table, and portions are large enough for leftovers. While the service is noted to be friendly and efficient, some guests have found the hostess unfriendly, and there are mentions of the need for improvements in the restaurant's decor. A frequent request from diners is the addition of traditional yum yum sauce, which many believe would elevate the dining experience further. The restaurant is popular, leading to long wait times, especially during peak hours, making reservations advisable. Overall, Samurai of Tokyo offers flavorful and well-prepared dishes, friendly service, and an engaging dining atmosphere.

This is the best hibachi restaurant in Texas! The sushi can not be beat. All of the entrees are tasty. We ordered Hibachi chicken and added a Rainbow Roll, a deep-fried Crab Crunch, and a Volcano Roll. Delicious!

Fun place to eat! The chef cooks right at your table. Food was delicious. Huge helpings so we brought home enough for lunch. The hostess was not friendly but our contact was short.

Ridiculously good hibachi & sushi. I have eaten different hibachi (small end to Benihanna’s) from East to West coast and nothing compares to Samurai in WF. I wish I could buy their sauce by the bottle to take out of state. As someone that remembers their old location, I miss the koi pond and the intimate atmosphere. Their ceiling tiles desperately need replaced. If only they would raise their lunch prices just a bit to cover them. But food is so worth it!

I recently dined at Samurai of Tokyo, and overall, it was a delightful experience! The food was genuinely good, showcasing a variety of flavorful dishes that left my taste buds satisfied. Each plate was well-prepared and presented beautifully, making the meal even more enjoyable. The service was another highlight of my visit. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. It’s always a pleasure to be served by a team that genuinely cares about their customers. However, there was a notable downside to my experience: the absence of traditional yum yum sauce. As a fan of this iconic condiment, I was quite disappointed that it wasn’t available. It would have complemented the dishes perfectly and elevated the overall dining experience. In summary, while Samurai of Tokyo offers great food and excellent service, I hope they consider adding traditional yum yum sauce to their menu in the future. That small addition would make a big difference for fans of Japanese cuisine!

Sushi Bar Review- Affordable and flavorful. This place never disappoints. Absolutely love their sushi. The rolls with cream cheese tend to be thicker and more mouthfuls. My husband and I’s go to rolls are the Alaskan, Sunset, Sunsans, and Salmon roll. Overall my go to place for sushi in WF.

I visit this hibachi restaurant a few times a year when I’m in town seeing family. It’s a GREAT value for how much food you get and the experience of seeing your food (rice, protein, veggies) cooked in front of you is always a plus. I don’t know what they put in their sauce for their fried rice and veggies but it is the reason why I keep coming back here. I only go when they first open at 11; otherwise the wait times are insanely long due to how popular this restaurant is.

Easily one the best hibachi I've ever experienced. I had the mahi mahi, most of the rest of our party had the cod with double fried rice. Absolutely incredible, can't wait to come back. Highly suggest making reservations, the parking lot was packed at 5:45.
