Best Saltgrass location i have been to! The waiter was phenomenal he was very friendly and attentive. The drinks and complementary bread came in quickly. The food was very hot, fresh and delicious! My children order the pizza, and my son did not like the flavor of the pizza sauce. It was a little to spicy for a toddler but for my daughter she liked it. I asked if it was possible to exchange the pizza for another choice and the waiter was not hesitant and was happy to. I dislike asking for a favor, but for my child I will speak up and he made me feel like it what no problem and for a customer/ mother it means a lot. This place has good customer service and excellent food!

Our waiter Jesus was amazing, however our steak came out way undercooked. I asked for medium well. Also our mashed potatoes were extremely salty. They did fix the issue by cooking the steak correctly, however the management was very poor. What assumed to be the manager she came to our table 1. Didn’t introduce herself or her name, 2. Didn’t ask how our we were enjoying our food, instead just quickly stated that they are recooking our steak. She did not even bother asking how we would like the steak to be cooked. Not to mention we noticed 2 other nearby tables also had a bad experience with their meals as well. I have worked waiting tables for years & the attitude of the staff was very bland. No one seemed to be happy working there. I have also come to eat at this location several times in the past and have never had any issues/complaints.

I took my wife for a birthday dinner per her request a good ribeye and it didn't disappoint. We got the crabcakes as appetizers and they were phenomenal and of course, as usual the server always makes the experience even better and we had a great one.

Bone in rib eye was not cooked correctly, but they fixed it. Staff and manager were great. It was Thanksgiving so I was not disappointed.

Won't be coming back. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Feel free to come for free ribeye rubber. I'm a regulars at Saltgrass and also a Landry's Select member so it hurts me to say this. My husband ordered a medium 16oz Ribeye, it came out well done, like I can't even really chew it and no pink at all. A perfectly good $35.89 Ribeye went to waste. We waited 20 minutes for the waitress to stop by so we can let her know the Ribeye was not edible, she was chatting with the hostess but never came back to our booth. We were tired of waiting so we left that and let the hostess know that the steak was done incorrectly (most were still untouched) and we left the $50 for the payment. Btw, we never even got the bread for the an hour that we were there 😂 This was the worst visit by far and I live out of town and visit this location at least 4x the past 2 years. It really went downhill. The manager never stopped by and they usually do if you are a Landry's member, not sure what changed.

We dined here last weekend and everything was phenomenal. There was a wait because we went during peak hours on the weekend but we got some drinks at the bar while waiting and the margarita was so good (and strong)! When we were sat, we ordered 2 appetizers and both came out hot and tasty! I highly recommend the bacon wrapped quail. We ordered our steaks and they came out perfect and made to our liking. Everything was so delicious! Our server Tattyanna was very sweet and attentive. The manager, Tiffany, took the time to come over and see how our meal was and was super friendly. I highly recommend eating here! Best overall dining experience we’ve had in a long time!

We had the pleasure of being waited on by Keba last week. He was very friendly, and took the time to go over all of the new items on the menu. He informed us that this location is a “tester location”, so they have more options on their menu than other locations in San Antonio. Highly recommend the redfish - it was delicious.

Dear Saltgrass Management, I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service we received during our visit on 1/19/2025. While we were initially pleased with the attentiveness of our server, the service quickly deteriorated, and several issues arose that significantly impacted our experience. First, our server became inattentive after a large party was seated nearby. Our drinks were not refilled for an extended period, and our drinks were empty before our appetizer even arrived. Another server finally refilled our drinks when our food arrived, but by then, much of our meal had already been disrupted. Additionally, my steak was served burnt, which the manager himself acknowledged when delivering the plate. However, after dropping it off, he left without addressing the issue further, seemingly hoping I would not complain. When I returned the steak, a new one was brought out, but it was the wrong order, and by then, most of my party had already finished their meals. To make matters worse, one of the servers prematurely took my friend’s plate while she was still eating, without asking if she was finished. Most troubling of all, when my husband expressed our concerns to the manager, the server approached him and began yelling at him in a very unprofessional and rude manner. This not only worsened the situation but also demonstrated a clear lack of customer service training among the staff. Given the poor service, lack of professionalism, and the issues with our meals, I feel this experience does not reflect the standards we expect from a restaurant of your caliber. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously and address these issues with your team, as it’s clear there is a significant need for better training in customer service and basic dining etiquette. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
