Customer Review Summary
Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar offers a memorable dining experience with excellent food and service. Highlights include the incredible Tomahawk steak, delicious mac n cheese, and fantastic desserts. Many reviewers praised the attentive and friendly staff, particularly a standout waiter named Kameron. Atmosphere is noted to be dark, which can make reading the menu difficult, but overall, the ambiance is appreciated. Some customers felt that portion sizes didn't justify the high prices, especially for sides that are sold separately. While some dishes were enjoyed, taste preferences varied among guests. Most reviews speak highly of the quality of the steaks and their preparation. However, there are reports of service hiccups, such as delayed seating and issues with bathroom cleanliness, indicating room for improvement. Despite some criticisms, many diners express a desire to return and recommend the restaurant.

Fleming’s provided a very memorable experience! Food, service and staff are the absolute best! The Tomahawk steak was incredible! The Mac n cheese super delish! The carrot cake - awesome. Even the Coca-Cola was perfect! Our waiter Kameron was the coolest! Best waiter ever!! And… the manager stopped by to check on us! The hostess and table setter also were courteous and helpful. Wow! Highly recommended!

The best part about this steakhouse is the staff and the atmosphere even though it’s pretty dark in there. A few people had to use the flashlight on their phone to see the menu. The staff was very friendly and attentive. In my opinion the amount of food you receive is not worth the prices you pay. We ordered the Barbecue Salmon which was $48 and the Double breast of chicken which was $40. For a plate that high you would think the portion size would be bigger and that you at least get sides to go with it but wrong. The sides are separate and started at $16. They claim to be “shareable sides” which is why they are sold separately, but I guess that just depends on how much you can eat by yourself. The food in my opinion had great taste and flavor, but my fiancé didn’t like any of it. Our friends ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were huge which was pretty cool. They also ordered the fried mushrooms which were really good as well. No hard feelings to the restaurant cause their prices are just their prices, but this steakhouse just wasn’t our cup of tea and we probably won’t be back.

Needed sustenance, getting hangry. Didn’t have a reservation, didn’t want to wait long to get good food, wanted to use our gift card. Settled into a nice, quiet booth in the bar area. Perfect. Ordered the Caymus & Burger. One glass was the 50th Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon & the Chickpea eggplant burger. Also ordered the filet mignon sandwich and a regular glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, both were excellent and really hit the spot. Gave our server the gift card. When she read it was for our anniversary, she brought us a tray with a delicious box of chilled chocolates! A very nice surprise. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I recently dined at Flemings Steakhouse during their 3 course meal dinner for two deal and it was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the restaurant, with its perfect lighting and presentation, set the tone for a wonderful evening. The highlight of the meal was definitely the steak - we ordered the porterhouse and filet minion and both were cooked to perfection. The flavors were exquisite and the meat was so tender and juicy. The service we received was outstanding, with our server being very attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. Overall, our experience at Flemings Steakhouse was top-notch and we will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Good place overall. Just some hiccups when we went. Had a reservation at 6 pm but didn't get seated until a little over 630. Good food overall and drinks were fine. It was a little too hot in the restaurant, though. Husbands steak was perfectly cooked, and my scallops were tender, and the mac n cheese was delicious.

My husband first brought me to Fleming's last Valentine's day and now he brought me for my birthday. This restaurant is amazing, the servers are great!

Fleming's food is always top notch. The beef is beyond compare. The food service is amazing. Our waitress and assistant were the best. We have been to several locations, however I was very disappointed in 2 things: 1) At this location the hostesses are on their phones, looking down, not engaging, showing a low level of professionalism and dress. Their hiring and training should be evaluated. One hardly spoke to us or was friendly at all. She should not be in the hospitality business, period. One tried, for a short minute, one was very nice and helpful. There should be a policy of no phones, customer first. 2) The ladies bathroom was disgusting. The toilet (largest one on the end) looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. I won't describe it, but suffice it to say that I've been in roadside gas station bathrooms cleaner than that. The sink area has so much build up of residue and water/soap scum it was the worst bathroom I have been in on my trip to San Antonio. Really Fleming's? You can do so much better. Regional manager and local manager were present, and I'm hoping they will see this review.

We visited Flemings Steakhouse at the Quarry. We started with a blueberry lemon drop martini which was a great choice. For our appetizer, we went with their crab cakes which were super delicious. My husband also ordered the lobster bisque which was creamy rich and had generous portions of lobster. However, when it came time for the main course, there was a slight hiccup. I ordered the ribeye with a lobster tail, while my husband opted for the ribeye with crab legs. Unfortunately, my steak had an off taste that seemed like spoilage after just a couple of bites. After confirming with my husband that the steak did indeed have an unusual flavor, I decided to bring it to the attention of our waiter, Josh. I must commend the waiter for his prompt and gracious response. Without hesitation, he arranged for a replacement steak to be prepared. The second steak was a vast improvement. I am not one to send food back so I felt bad but I also didn’t want to get sick. Throughout this experience, the staff, including which I believe may have been the head chef and manager, demonstrated a high level of attentiveness and professionalism. Their genuine concern for our satisfaction was evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our meal. We finished our meal with their foster banana bread which was good.
