Chart House offers an amazing dining experience with breathtaking views, especially at sunset. Many reviewers praised the delicious food, including crab and shrimp fondue, prime rib, and desserts like the hot chocolate lava cake. Service is generally described as excellent and friendly, with specific mentions of outstanding servers like Beatriz and Jarvis. However, some critiques noted that while the experience is special, the food doesn't always match the high prices, suggesting a greater focus on the view rather than culinary excellence. Had an amazing dinner with my 6 year old daughter. It was definitely amazing. The cheese cake and crab and shrimp fondue was delicious. Beatriz was an amazing server and had such a beautiful personality. The view was sooo breathtaking with the sunset. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the service 🙏🙌

The short: We're glad we went. We will do some things differently next time. The long: The novelty of the experience is so cool - rotating in a big circle to see the whole city (and miles beyond) is breathtaking. But once you have done the 45-minute loop 3 times and still haven't gotten the check, the magic lessens. (They got us in on time for our 1:30 reservation, and we ended up leaving just after 4). Although it was slow, the service was also professional and polite. In our opinion, the food was fine. I get you're paying more for the experience than the food, but even then, we just don't feel like the flavor/quality was high enough to justify the price (their "holiday limited menu" was $80/person for 3 courses or $65 for an entree). Meanwhile, you could pay for just the observation deck instead... 🤔 All that said, if we go back, we will go just for dessert. That way, we get both the views and a treat that can be enjoyed in the right amount of time, and for a better matched price. That, or skip the restaurant and go straight to the observation deck because you could better enjoy the same meal for much less at most franchise sit-down restaurants.

This was my first visit and it was an excellent experience! From the 4D movie (I didn’t know how interactive it was lol), the observation deck and the best part was my dinner at the Charter House. My waiter, Jarvis, was absolutely magnificent! And the Old Fashioned he made was probably the best I’ve ever had. The food was fulfilling and delicious! The wait was very short too. The view is beautiful! I will be visiting again soon and I’m hoping to get Jarvis as my waiter.

I recommend reserving the time around 4:30 so you can enjoy the day time, sunset and evening all. It is definitely breathtaking view. The service is great and one of the best in town. The food is good but not the top, and the price is definitely fair. For three adults and one kid, we ordered three main dishes, 3 side dishes, one cake, one kids meal, 3 non alcoholic drinks, the total is $199, with tax and tips it is a little bit over $250. I definitely recommend Mac and cheese, maple glazed salmon. Meatballs and roasted chicken are an average, but lamb chops is a no, although the vegetables and spread in it are great, the lamb itself is a NO, lol. Will definitely come back for another visit. And be sure to arrive on time, because there is only 15 minutes grace time although it is not stated in the reservation information, it is fair.

This is the revolving restaurant in the Tower of the Americas, built for the World’s Fair over 50 years ago. Like other revolving restaurants the food isn’t the best for the price but the atmosphere is great. I am a sucker for such things though. In fairness I have to admit that the natural landscape of San Antonio does not lend itself to a revolving restaurant (flat in all directions) but the sunset was very nice.

Chart House San Antonio is now my favorite restaurant. We took my parents for their anniversary and the experience was AMAZING! The 360 view experience was fantastic. The food was SO flavorful and delicious. I ordered the Prime Rib, it was so tender but my favorite part was the Potato Garlic Mashed ( the best one I have ever had). My dad ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon and let me tell you, best Salmon ever. The Sizzling mushrooms as a side were so delicious too. The cherry on top... Hot Chocolate Lava Cake. It was the best we have ever had, they even wrote Happy Anniversary on the side! Definitely coming back!

Such a beautiful place to spend time with your loved ones. Strategically located inside the Hemisphere, you have the opportunity to experience spectacular views of the city of San Antonio while enjoying some of the most delicious dishes. We all had a Christmas three course meal that was simply one of the most delicious and memorable meals we have had in a long time. If you have the opportunity to dine in at an upscale restaurant, this is definitely the place to be.

Had dinner here with several of my Co-Workers. Obviously, the atmosphere is very cool. It's a revolving restaurant 700 ft. Up in the air. We ordered multiple appetizers, the calamari, quail, and a shrimp and crab fondue dip. All of that was really good. I had the Chart Your Own Course. The crab bisque was excellent. Unfortunately, the prime rib was not good. I ordered it Medium Rare. It was cooked correctly but overall it was very tough. I wish I would have ordered the Black and Blue Mahi. I had a bite of that and it was delicious!! Final course was a Chocolate Lava Cake which was awesome!!
