Truly an amazing steakhouse experience. Our server Roberto took the most phenomenal care of the group. Wine list was extensive as well as a bourbon list that was top notch. The food is served a la carte, sides are shareable, notably the Au Gratin. Food was cooked perfectly, ambiance was very warm and comfortable, two dining areas are available with one street level and one 2nd floor room. I would recommend this for a special occasion or if you’re visiting San Antonio. The river walk was very close, walking distance to lots of shops and a theater.

Food and atmosphere are top notch. Service was a little slower, but our water was always full. Still a fabulous experience overall. The downstairs bar is separate from the restaurant, but they can still grab specialty drinks from there if needed. Great wine selection, but a few we picked were out of stock.

Go right up to the dining area upstairs. It feels more like fine dining. You'll get to hear different stories from sources of meat for steak. Escargot was, personally, the most favorite item. Some dishes are probably too salty for some people. Staff was great at pampering things to your needs.

What an amazing place!❤️. From the ambience, food, decor, band and remarkable staff, this is a class act you will not forget. We celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday and they did not disappoint. We live in the DFW area and we have great restaurants, but the entertainment and customer service here was beyond. We will certainly be back. Thank you Jordan, Dave, Vidal, and another sweet sweet young handsome man whose name escapes us but he was the icing on the cake. I had the chef’s special - the scallops - soooo good and my sweet hubby had the ribeye which was just perfectly seasoned and tender. Oh french onion soup was really good and they treated us to an awesome crème brûlée. Thank you for a great experience!

A year ago, my husband and I celebrated our recent marriage by having an all-out dinner here. I'm writing this review now because that night has stuck with me and has been one of my favorite memories to look back on. The whole experience was so incredibly special, and the staff made us feel like we were the most important people in the room. We were there for hours; the staff making sure we took our time and enjoyed every moment. My husband and I agree that we had the best steak of our lives that night. I have recommended this place to so many people since and I will continue to do so. I am so glad that we chose this place to celebrate our marriage. Overall I enjoyed spending my birthday here. I went alone and they put me at a table overlooking the beautiful courtyard. The cream cheese candied jalapeño starter was fabulous..as well as my crabcake. My steak was a tad overcooked (ordered med rare +) but they went out of their way to fix it immediately and make up for it. Honestly the steak wasn't the best I ever had but it was pretty good...I just prefer a little more seasoning. The cheesecake is a must have even if you take it home for later. My Manhattan with an s were yummy. May have had 3 or 4 if I weren't driving myself. It was a bit loud for my nerves but that's not necessarily the restaurants fault. I would go back and try something other than steak because the service and atmosphere were excellent.

Had a fantastic birthday meal at Bohanans. First time there as recent transplants to SA. Rick our server was very attentive throughout the evening. Can highly recommend the foie gras steak accompaniment and the goat cheese mashed potatoes.

A unique experience! The service was superb. All the food was exquisite but the best of all was the mashed potatoes with goat cheese. I will definitely go back again.
