Lovely impromptu hibachi lunch at Tokyo Steakhouse House in La Frontera. We were seated quickly and enjoyed the hibachi skills of our chef. We also ordered a sushi roll which was fresh and well-prepared. This is definitely not as upscale as Benihana but still a great, affordable option the whole family will enjoy. We saw many birthdays and special occasion tables throughout. Fun, family restaurant with delicious food.

I had the hibachi on 02/28/2025. The food was good and the hibachi cooking very entertaining and fun! However, the prices are little high and service was a somewhat slow. Nonetheless it was a fun experience and I would return.

However, the host was more interested in their phone than acknowledging departing customers, which left a less-than-positive impression. While the food is satisfying enough to bring me back, the ambiance and decor, including the tableware, feel outdated and could use a refresh. Also, be prepared to leave with a lingering smoky BBQ scent on your clothes, as the ventilation could be improved. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a meal, but some updates and better attention to customer service would elevate the experience.

We went here for the first time tonight for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Absolutely our new go to hibachi spot. The food was way fresher than others we have been to and not overly soaked in oil. They have better prices for much better food!! We didn't try and sushi this time, but will eventually! The food doesn't leave that overly heavy feeling as quickly as the others that use all that oil either. Sure, the service could use some attention...but, the food was phenomenal and fresh. We ordered the hot Green Tea, miso soup, Avocado and crab eggrolls, Crunchy Fried Rolls, Philly Rolls, regular fried rice, and Fried Ice Cream. We enjoyed everything and left happily. Looking forward to visiting again.

The beef was ok but nothing special. The fried rice was cold; by the time the order was ready, everything else on my plate was already cold. The service was awful. One of us dropped her water cup, and the server was in front of us, not providing a napkin until we asked for one. The experience felt rushed, even though it took forever for them to cook the flavorless food.
