We had planned to eat somewhere else and found this place by mistake but it was totally worth it. Not only do they have a kids menu but they offer real options for the kids as well. I ordered the salmon and it was cooked to perfection my husband had the red fish and it was perfect as well. Service was amazing, food tasted great and they had an amazing atmosphere. They have a full bar and beers on tap. Although we didn’t get drinks this time I’m sure we will be back another time. Great job!

Client took me to this restaurant and it was a very cozy place. Our waiter was nothing short of amazing 🤩. I ordered the Blackened Redfish fresh Texas redfish, shrimp risotto, onions, mushrooms, peppers, butter sauce. It was seasoned well but it was over cooked which made it dry but the shrimp risotto was good. She ordered the Wood Grilled Ribeye hand-cut ribeye, baked potato, vegetable medley And it was cooked just the way she wanted it and it was so good 😊

I ordered the Cauliflower as an appetizer and the dipping sauce was perfect! For my entree: I ordered the Red Fish meal but had them swap the fish with Salmon and it was delectable!!! I then ended my lunch with the 7 layer chocolate cake. It was very moist. Yummy!!! Very satisfying

Raul was our server. We were here for over four hours enjoying the conversation, drinks and food. I had the meatloaf and he had the chicken fried steak. The tomatoes appetizer was the best part of the meal! Chocolate cake for dessert was enough to share. Highly recommend trying everything on the menu here!

July 27, 2024: I was walking across the parking lot to Zalat pizza, noticed the Wildwood woodfire logs and whiskey through the window and noted I must come back, Zalat wasn't dine in (I'll still try it soon!), so I came right back to where the whiskey and wood were beckoning. What a happy accident! Sat solo in a cozy booth to myself. Started with the house, smoked old fashioned – yes! (Only recommendation, present the smoke effect for just a little longer). Started with the Caeser salad with jalapeño croutons and poblano dressing (added avocado) — might be one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had! I'd go back even just for this. The pesto grilled shrimp over risotto was incredible — perfect pairings of all the ingredients. The housemade bread pudding served in cast iron... goodness gracious was that good. I added a la mode, and lapped up every last bite of caramel, gooey butter, creamy deliciousness. The real star though, was: Jeffery. This server made my experience exceptional and memorable within seconds of me sitting down until the end. Jeffrey is incredible at service and showmanship, kindness and hospitality, and just an incredible human being. Thank you, sincerely.

The wife and I stopped into this place on our way home and we were NOT disappointed! The staff were friendly & engaging from start to finish. Great atmosphere with classic rock playing in the background. Now…for the food…WOW!! The Burrata & Blistered Tomatoes appetizer was fresh and if you want an entree to die for, you MUST try the Shrimp & Grits!! The Shrimp & Grits were so good we had to order another one to go!! We also had a really good Salmon dish and some desserts to-go. Our server & the manager were very nice, welcoming and attentive. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you’re out for dinner.

11/28/23: This was our first visit. We went on A Tuesday evening for dinner. Alma was our hostess, and she did a great job. My wife had a Grapefruit Martini, and I had a Smoked Old Fashioned. The Alma prepared the Smoked Old Fashioned at our table, which was a really nice experience. We had the Fired Cheese Blocks as an appetizer. She had the Hanger "Butcher's Cut" with a loaded baked potato and green beans, and I took advantage of the 2 for Tuesdays special. I had the Pecan Crusted Chicken and the Atlantic Salmon. Our food was very good, and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant was very clean, very nicely decorated, and parking was plentiful. Towards the end of our meal, I saw John, who was bartending, and I had met him before at a different restaurant.

Wildwood is "locally owned southern kitchen". Always nice to go local over chain restaurants, of which this is one that is a good find. They have a lot of good options for happy hour and the regular menu. The staff is friendly and attentive, but will also give you space and not rush you out the door. There is a nice outdoor patio for afternoons or evenings when the weather is nice.
