Customer Review Summary

LongHorn Steakhouse in Plano is praised for its delicious entrees, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere, making it a popular choice for families and friends. The complimentary bread and soups, particularly the loaded potato and chicken tortilla, receive positive mentions. Steak options like the flavorful New York Strip are highlighted, along with well-prepared salads. While some dishes like pork chops were initially unsatisfactory, the staff rectified issues promptly, and items such as salmon and honey Brussels sprouts were well-received. One negative experience on Valentine's Day involved raw steak and poorly prepared sides, contrasting with the usual quality. Overall, many reviewers appreciate the friendly service, reasonable prices, and cleanliness of the restaurant. The steakhouse is favored for its chicken tenders and dessert options. There are requests for additional locations to make access easier. Though some visits encountered poorly prepared dishes and slow service, overall, the consensus leans towards satisfaction, particularly with steaks and service consistency. Some guests preferred Texas Roadhouse for certain menu items but acknowledged LongHorn's strengths in specific areas.

LongHorn Steakhouse, in Plano, has consistently provided delicious entrees, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Over the years, I have visited for lunch and dinner, and even take-out. I continue to return because LongHorn is an exceptional restaurant for family, friends, and loved ones. I recommend you try their complimentary bread with a soup. I enjoyed both the loaded potato and chicken tortilla soup. They had a variety of steak options and the New York Strip I chose was flavorful and tender. The Caesar salad was well prepared and paired well with my steak.

I wasn’t happy with my pork chops & mushroom/onion side dish, but they quickly made it right. The salmon was much better & the honey Brussel sprouts were great. Previously had the chicken fried chicken & it’s good too.

Valentine’s Day is the very worst time to visit any restaurant. Usually I have never had any problems on any holiday but this year was very disappointing and just terrible. My usual is the Longhorn steak but this time around it was still moo-ing it was so raw. The potato was so burnt and dry it could break a window if you threw it just so sad. The Caesar salad was horrible. And for the manager to tell employees if customers are boot off the wait list they had tore join which was currently at 2 hours wait time and it was almost 9:30-10pm and closing time was 11pm. Never had a problem in the past but nothing is always perfect. Maybe after a few month rethink about revisiting. Longhorn was my favorite steak house even over Texas Roadhouse due to the perfectly cook steaks. (The drinks a mediocre to say the most)

In both Maryland & Texas for quite a long time, this has been my #1 most favorite restaurant. I absolutely love their chicken tenders & fries, and despite not getting it this time, I also love their chocolate stamped cake. The service was friendly, the atmosphere is top notch, and thank god that there was none of that cleaner smell which some locations tend to have. Prices are also reasonable compared to other restaurants. I just wish that they would build a Longhorn Steakhouse in either Frisco and/or The Colony areas since I would definitely go to this restaurant far more often if it was much closer to me. But, aside from the Fort Worth location, the Plano location is still worth going to. ^-^

Had a great dinner at the LongHorn Steakhouse. The wife had the lobster and steak and I had the T-bone. Both were cooked to perfection. The restaurant always has a crowd because they have a good selection with fair prices. There's no reason to not give it a try today.

Fairly new casual chain steakhouse. Restaurant is clean and a good order. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Restaurant can get rather loud and rambunctious at times if there are large parties. Servers and staff were very friendly and helpful. Menu has a fairly wide selection of choices. Steaks are not the best I've ever had but are very very good for the price. Sides are very good. Absolutely recommend.

First time coming here and I won’t be returning , about 2 weekends ago , my friend and I went out to eat here and the onion petals were not it ..half the plate was under seasoned while the other half was over seasoned, it looked like they were freezer burned or something . The bloomin onion is much better from Texas road house. I also got the Parmesan crusted chicken and was not impressed … the quality of the chicken was off .. and it was over salty. The loaded mashed potatoes were the better part of the dish. However it was busy and our server may have been new . The service was slow overall . I would just stick with Texas road house . I will not be returning to this restaurant . The Cesar was original . Nothing over the top just very mid ..

I am always stunned at how consistently excellent Longhorn does their steaks. For the price, this is my go to chain and this store is an excellent representation of what I like about them. Excellent and consistent customer service whether dining in or picking up. I highly recommend the fillet and firecracker chicken wraps.
